Regardless, he is still the PM, 3 times. I remember on this forum when Ford won in Ontario. All the whining and crying and how unfair it is about how he did not get the popular vote yet, he won. This is Canada and this is how it happens in Canada. Y'all can make excuses or theories or grandiose statements but the fact is, he is thrice the PM. I don't like it but it is what "we" wanted. As for Toronto the liberal wasteland, that has been that way for many many decades. I am from out West and always knew once Ontario voted, it was over.

Well, as this country goes, the most seats win.. Hence, trudeau sit on the throne. Perhaps it will be cancelled, and I surely hope it is but, that is 18 months ago and like so many political promises, will it really happen? Anal fixation?? Because I posted a photo of cdnfux out PP's ass? I let it go but he keeps bringing it up. When he stops, so will I.

I take the other side and ask for proof of comments. If no proof is forthcoming, I suggest the comment is invalid. I do that with many topics to many posters and normally, they deflect or just do not respond You do the same thing. That is far from defending trudeau but is a direct challenge to hearsay and false statements. Some posters do not like to be challenged. thy just assume their rectal plucks will be accepted as fact.

As I said earlier, I am form the west and Trudeau Snr turned me off liberals way back when. As for the immigration thing, that was not his or liberal platform till the past 2 years. He never ran on bringing in the millions of refugees and immigrants. I think even his party was surprised at his actions. We, the Canadian public. The elections results are clear....enough Canadians voted for him as he has been our PM for 3 terms.

I actually think PP will be voted in and be Prime Minister. Trudeau's actions have alienated him even from his own party. It is too late for him to step down down and get a new leader and campaign so the liberals will have to accept the defeat and then pick a new leader. I think that Jagmeet has killed his party even in traditional NDP land like BC. Oh and do I ever love the Lee Brothers comment. Can I use it?? LOL

The unfortunate thing is there is no and never has been an "absence of it". Blacks have been N****rs. Indigenous have been red men, injuns and many other names. Germans have been Nazis. Polish are polocks. Japanese have been slant eyes. All Indians have been Pakis....and on and on. Picking one group is being naive. It would be nice if there is an "absence of it" but...

I am not sure what you see is behind my comments except perhaps your perception? I also cannot see where my comment goes against your country. Discrimination, against others has been part of this country since we became a country and even before that. In the beginning we did not like some of the indigenous that did not do what we wanted or did not trade with us. Before that, the indigenous themselves fought one another because they did not like each other so, discrimination, by any name has been around forever.' Just because the jewish people have a special name (antisemitism was coined by a German) for it changes nothing, it is discrimination against a peoples.

I am 100% apolitical. I am of the opinion that all parties have some valid policies and some bad. It is a shame there is no party that selects the best from them all. To me, we have become very American in our politics. It seems there are no independent thinkers anymore, you are either liberal or conservative, left or right. No best for the country as a whole party. You have to be left or right. And the rhetoric and vitriol coming from, on this forum, conservatives, is deafening. I can fully understand not liking the present government, it happens all the time be it con or lib once they have been in power for 3 terms. The existing government gets the boot after 3 terms and nearly wiped out. Happened to the conservatives and will happen to the liberals too. That is why I have said I wished were were like the Americans, 2 turns and you are out. I will go further, and say 3 or maybe 4 terms elected and you are out. I do not believe politics should be a career. What I truly enjoy is getting under the skin or hard nose political weenies on either side. I respect your choice of conservative. It is a personal choice. I do hope that you have bought all PP's conservative platforms and policies but because I have not does not make me an enemy.

Canada's dangerous slide into antisemitism

You know what they say about statistics? https://www.brainyquote.com/topics/statistics-quotes And really, you offered no statistics, just a cut and paste from a Globe editorial.
