I worked for "the feds" canuck style at the beginning of my career. One of my first lessons was...play the game or they'll drum you out. Which made things really interesting during the referendum.

The trick is to find strength with honour. I think Carter was honourable...but he was weak. Reagan was fairly honorable...except the whole Iran/Contra thing. He had a sort of howdy-doody strength too. Trump has strength. Honour? I think the court is still out on that one. We wiil find out though it looks like.
