  1. What we really need is a seat in parliament for every single Canadian, or a referendum on every single piece of legislation, now thats democracy, it's idiotic, and if you still didn't get what you wanted you would surely find some way to bitch and moan about it.
  2. nah, that could never happen, it's only the down trodden and obviously liberal leaning people that don't vote, the conservatives however all get together every few years to maintain their fascist like hold on democracy I got my invite, it was a great after party.
  3. You're right, it is ridiculous when the liberals or NDP portray themselves as being better than the Conservatives.
  4. The majority will be religious, it will just be a much more difficult one to get along with.

  5. So you don't believe in the right to self defense? Freedom is freedom, or is freedom only something that a liberal can decide upon? All things including freedom have limits in a civil society.
  6. You like saying things like that, why don't you explain? I don't remember any of these complaints when the libs were getting majorities without a 'real' majority, strange that.
  7. So what part of the world do you live in? It might be nice to experience a place where freedom has no limits. Maybe I could own a shotgun without having to have my wife's approval, or have it registered (for now), or have to provide a firearms license to buy ammunition! Or even be free to defend myself with it if needed! What a utopia that would be..but let me guess, you're ok with limiting the freedoms I want, but the ones you expect are sacred.
  8. Yea WWII proved how incapable the Americans were when they went in with all they had, it's too bad the Japanese weren't as resourceful, courageous, and a well equipped as the Vietnamese.
  9. Are you suffering from monsteritis?
  10. There is nothing idiotic about it, our system has flaws, but it has still been the best system, if you can prove that any other system of government and economics provides people with more opportunity then im sure we would all be interested. This movement is at its heart a movement of Marxist ideology, there are winners and losers in our system, sometimes through no fault of your own, some seem to think that there should be no losers. I take care of myself and my family, for better or worse everyone should be expected to do the same, help those who truly can't help themselves, but no more.
  11. Defending it is easy, you're argument seems to be with the reality of the situation, in relative terms, please show us why this government isn't legitimate, or don't waste your time.
  12. Yes, my thinking that the way we have done things has produced one of the best places in the world to live is terribly flawed..Why don't you tell us exactly what we need to do to make this an even better place to live.
  13. You really shouldn't speak for others, and i, like most people, think a lot of things, so do you disagree with every aspect of the crime bill?
  14. Decisions have consequences.
  15. People with jobs like parks too.
  16. Be kind, crap is a major part of some peoples belief system.
  17. Im sorry, but why so vindictive? Are you so entrenched in your ideology that you can't believe he is doing what he thinks is right for the country? I mean really, putting him in his place? What exactly does that mean? Honestly that's a really silly comment, you can disagree with him, i surely don't agree with him on everything, but you actually seem to hate the man, just what has he done to garner that hatred aside from doing things that he thinks are right and that you don't agree with? Do you hate Chretien? Do you think he did things for his reasons or for yours?
  18. The current government has as legitimate a majority as most of the other governments for the last few decades, you don't agree with it, well boohoo, who cares what you think anyway. Btw, do you have proof that most people don't agree with the current gov't policies? I take issue with a number of them, but I get the feeling that Harper could cure cancer and you would somehow be against it.
  19. It's interesting isn't it, that this country is envied by much of the world and yet our political system is in some peoples eyes so terribly broken, but then for some of those people communism would be their choice, so maybe they are best ignored. Of course we could always do better, but we are doing pretty well here, some of these other countries with prop rep can't seem to get anything done.
  20. They may be technically allowed to stay for now, but remaining in the park has not been legalized permanently, an important difference. You would think that setting up living quarters in the park would not be required to protest, a rotating protest could be setup.
  21. I think they made their point, and considering that the rest of the public had ample opportunity to throw off the chains of capitalist oppression and follow the movement, and did not (in any great number), now is as good a time as any to end it.
  22. Yea, a lot of us have been oppressed by liberals for years because of that system.
  23. There is no doubt that the middle class could be doing better and some government policies aren't helping, but at the heart of this protest is a generation of people who have been brainwashed into thinking that socialism/Marxism is the best system. I wonder how many arts degrees are in those crowds of protestors, i would rather have the opportunity to better my situation than be told by the government how I was to live. It's amazing how many people do just that.
  24. Not an accident,,i'm sure you have proof to back your assertions?
