  1. I doubt it. I have six grand kids who I would give my life for in a heartbeat.
  2. Your over reaction to made up threats posed a vaccine smacks of fear. Well, you are a gambler but you pick really dumb stakes to back.
  3. I'd be willing to bet that I am much less afraid of death than you are.
  4. There are consequences to my choices, you just don't like them.
  5. Bla Bla Bla. You don't care about rights, you just don't want any restrictions on your behaviour. I'm not interested in punishing anyone, you are the author of your own self inflicted misfortunes. You don't want to live an let live, you want to do whatever you want and let the rest of the world take responsibility.
  6. The only thing that irks me is the continual whining about being victims. Just look at the title of this topic. I didn't get vaccinated because I like needles or to make a statement, I just wanted to get back toward a more normal life with a much lower risk of severe illness or death. Full stop. I think that covers over 90% of those who choose to get vaccinated. I don't know what else it could be other than fear and to put my shrink hat on for a second (totally unqualified), I might suggest they stop looking for things that reinforce their fears and start looking for ways to overcome them.
  7. If you say so but if that is the case it seems to me that the vaccinated are the ones who have accepted that Covid isn’t going anywhere and have done what they can to protect themselves so they can get on with life while the unvaccinated are the ones hiding and living in fear. Of what I don’t know.
  8. Comparing the percentage of vaccinated hospitalized versus unvaccinated hospitalized is really the only metric that counts.
  9. How many of those vaccinated people ended up in hospital?
  10. So how does this disease spread if all the sick people are staying home?
  11. If they starve it is their own decision to do so. What are they sacrificing? I don't resent anyone, I'm just sick of them whining about being victims.
  12. I would certainly rely on medical experts rather than the the internet experts here. They did a lot of research before they decided to get her vaccinated. You go on about possible long term effects of vaccines while completely ignoring the possible long term effects of the disease itself, like permanent organ damage.
  13. The way they did it at the start of the pandemic. They count those going in and once they hit their limit they let one in for every one who leaves. Where were you in the spring of 2020?
  14. Again, I am a grand parent, I had no say in the matter, but heaven forbid you should do something to protect someone else. I don’t interfere in the way my kids raise their children, they are doing at least as well as I did.
  15. I had no say in her being vaccinated. Both her parents are well educated healthy 40 somethings.
  16. I’m not demanding anything other than you live with the consequences of your own decisions.
  17. My seven year old grand daughter just got her first shot and she thinks you are a whuss
  18. Yup and yes but why would I stand outside a store freezing my ass off to accomodate antivaxxers.
  19. Physical distancing rules aren’t just about maintaining two metre separation, the number of people you can have in your store is directly related to its square footage. Apparently you don’t understand. I don’t dispute that one of the reasons for this is to encourage more people to get vaccinated.
  20. Exactly, the only immunity to this virus is from vaccination or infection. The first is safe, the second is a crap shoot.
  21. They show no symptoms, they are still infected and can pass it along because their body is producing the virus.
  22. I can’t believe that you can’t understand the regulation.
