Most of the people I see wear masks and social distance. I miss hockey though. I'm for bringing it back.

"Primary means of control" is a mealy mouthed, weasel-word, nebulous term meaning whatever they want it to mean as the situation arises. Things go bad, so that was because you didn't use "primary means of control." Things work out so it was good that you didn't use "primary means of control." I knew what the Who meant when they were pushing full lockdowns. But no, I don't believe "people" universally are too stupid to understand words. Evidence suggests some are though.
-
Hang on there hero. Are you sure your article said what you hoped they said? Because I read it and it looks more like another case of somebody should have read past the title. I'm not sure Shady is in disagreement with this article when it points out how The Who is back tracking. Weasel-Words who wrote the piece would like you to think there was not back tracking, but the truth slipped out: So I remember when the WHO was pushing total lock downs. There was no use of the nebulous term "primary means of control." I see why they're backtracking to use it now though. Anytime things screw up they can say "Oh but you used the lockdown as a 'primary means of control'. We never advised you to do that. But yeah Shady's right. The WHO backtracked.

No. I think it was terrible that all those people died. Especially the ones that died unnecessarily as a result of the stupidity of leaders like Pelosi, de Blasio, Cuomo and Whitmer. It was a crying shame. Hopefully the leaders in the mid west will be smarter. There will be some inevitable deaths no matter what they do, but I blame the Chi Comms for those. As to your hypothetical that a "strong lockdown" will save the day there's no real evidence to support that.
-
On something else though... It's getting hard not to have conspiratorial thoughts these days. I can't help thinking how well everything worked out for the Chi-Comms as a result of their virus. They got to clean out the medically un-productive and the elderly. Now it's true they've been back-tracking on their one child policy but that doesn't mean they're not still fans of population control and what they took out with the Wuhan virus weren't contributors to their great society. And it's more just workers and the elite left, I'll bet. Don't waste your time giving us Chinese stats on that. They're useless. At the same time they had an excuse for massive new controls under which they did God knows what. They got to clean out their critics in the early days. We saw that. They disrupted the West and they appear to have taken out their only real road block to global control (Donald Trump) in a fixed election. That was only possible as a result of their virus. Happy times for Communist China.

This second wave seems to be hitting the mid-west now. Now, we're hearing the same hysterical cries that there won't be enough beds that we heard with the first wave. Those happened in the Democrat cities where leadership like Pelosi and de de Blasio were first telling everybody to come out into the streets and enjoy, and if you didn't want to you were a racist. Then rather than use the mega-bed hospital ship Trump sent him the Governor of New York sent his sick to retirement homes. The Democrat governor of New York thought that was such a good idea she did it too. My point is even with all these dumb mistakes the hospital bed shortage disaster never happened. This was in spite of the media screaming 'they're all gonna die hysteria," just like they seem to be doing about a possible second wave bed shortage in the mid-west for this second wave on the places that missed the first. I'm not worried and I'm not sure there is evidence the total lockdown did much if anything the first time. I guess there might be a new wrinkle this time in that it's happening in the middle of flu and pneumonia season but on the other hand nobody's caught by surprise this time and I would assume they'll be better at handling things after seeing how bad the Dem mayors and governors cocked things up during the first wave.

Critical race theory is poisoning society
Infidel Dog replied to Argus's topic in Political Philosophy
Liberalism has nothing to do with Critical Race Theory. You have to go farther left than that. Eight Big Reasons Critical Race Theory Is Terrible for Dealing with Racism They go into it at more detail in the link. -
"Ballot harvesting involves paternalistic white people entering black neighborhoods and compelling political decisions because they think they know better. It is the most systemically racist thing presently being done in America. "

Apparently they pulled up and the guy spit on a littler guy with a flag. The little guy called him a bitch so the tall, hipster guy got out of his car to be tough. The big Trump guy stood between the two of them and you saw what happened next. In the end Hipster came back and 911ed, but the trump supporters had video of Hipster attacking so all the cops could do was shake their heads and call for medical support for hipster guy.

Better get back on subject though. I get the feeling a lot of people didn't watch the whole rally in Georgia last night. Would like to see a clip though? To give you a sense of what was going on. Here's a clip dealing with the lawsuits.

He had one of those retractable batons. Was acting tough with it and the Proud Boy knocked him out. Edit: Oh wait, Sapper...ask and you shall receive. This is a new one so you should be able to play it. First link on my favorite archive site:

I get in trouble for posting them unless I have something clever to say about them. Antifa always gets thumped when it's a fair fight, so I don't always have something novel to say about it. This one was always my favorite though:
-
OK, that one, wasn't bad.

You're pretty sure nothing you've said on this social media site might damn you, are you? Because I've heard it said your recent pathetic attempts at humor or as I heard them called, "trolling" were kind of dumb. Maybe you should be happy we don't have a swamp or a cancel culture to witch-hunt you here like they did to Flynn. You know glass houses and all that.
-
But see, anybody could say the same thing about you, not knowing anything about you. But perhaps if they looked into it they might think even you might be worthy of a vote for something. Perhaps a city councilor of some such thing. It's the principle of acquiring knowledge by investigation we're talking about. And that's the problem with leftist witch-hunting. Sooner or later somebody is going to look into it and you're going to have kind of a knowledge-based, Streisand effect reaction. Whatever your political based prejudice chooses to have you believe about Flynn you can't prove him guilty of anything, so that makes the guys who witch-hunted him the bad guys and by default it makes Flynn the good guy.

Critical race theory is poisoning society
Infidel Dog replied to Argus's topic in Political Philosophy
1, Support of what likes to call itself the Progressive left by the corporate, money manager and heir elite is not an illusion. Nor is it without precedent. National Socialists were famous for corporatism. You see it today in Russia and China. 2. Critical Race theory is a dumb and dangerous idea. It doesn't become smarter or less dangerous to western society because it comes out of universities. -
What about investigating the charges against the innocent who appear to be getting unjustly harassed then supporting him because you know more about the case. Take Flynn for example. Never heard of him until the swamp creeptures started witch hunting him and got him unjustly convicted of a crime. I'd vote for him for anything he ran for now. After looking into his history he seems like a top-line, capable guy.

To be fair... https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2020/12/02/can-trump-pardon-himself-can-pardons-reversed-power-explained/3792550001/ However there is legal argument as to whether or not a President can pardon himself. It's in the link. If he could though, I wouldn't blame Trump if he did Preemptively pardon himself and others connected to him. The Communists, pardon me, Democrats have shown a propensity to witch hunt, try, and even convict the innocent. See Flynn.

Critical race theory is poisoning society
Infidel Dog replied to Argus's topic in Political Philosophy
if any of that were contextually true you might have a point. A point proving what, I'm not sure though. Nothing to do with critical race theory. I'm sure of that. -
I went back and watched it from the beginning. That was all pretty good. I don't think anybody doubts that Trump stands behind Loeffler and Perdue now. I was a little disappointed none of them called for a legislative hearing publicly but at the end of the day we were left with this:
-
Patriots had a good day. Trump rallied the troops in Georgia and Antifa got the crap kicked out of them again - this time by American flags:
-
Yeah, and darn you, you made me miss the intro. Trump's on stage now:
-
Well, Progressive->Progressive Socialist->Prog-Comm->Communist. Different points on the road to the same ultimate destination. Nobody knows where you might be on the path but we can tell when you're on it. And these guys are: https://reallyamerican.com/about-us/ Here's the story on the billboards: https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/stacey-lennox/2020/12/02/well-done-everyone-really-american-pac-crowdfunds-georgia-billboards-to-divide-republicans-n1183959
-
Hang on. I'm looking for the link.
-
Here's what you guys deprived of the full information don't understand about that one. The push on that one can end in a few minutes when Trump walks on stage. That's a push from lawyer Lin Wood. He wants people to hold back the voter unless the two Senate candidates, Loeffler and Perdue push for a special session of the Georgian legislature like what Trump wants. Loeffler and Perdue are at the rally with Trump that starts in a few minutes and is linked above. Another interesting thing about that one though is a Commie was putting up billboards supposedly as a friend to the strategy of republicans refusing to vote.
