Coronavirus US Economy: Pelosi Shuts Down McConnell’s Small Business Spending Plan ... By Wesley Dockery 04/14/20 House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Tuesday shut down a plan backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to help small businesses amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Pelosi would like the spending bill to also include funding for state and local governments, along with hospitals. “We cannot accept Leader McConnell’s proposals that would only perpetuate the flaws that are threatening the survival of the most vulnerable small businesses and would do nothing to aid desperate hospitals and state and local governments,” she said. Republicans are pushing for $250 billion in funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a federal incentive for small businesses to keep employees on their payrolls. The program received $350 billion in funding from the CARES Act stimulus package signed by President Trump last month. Democrats want the $250 billion for the PPP, along with an additional $100 billion for hospitals and $150 billion for state and local governments. Democratic lawmakers also want extra funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program... McConnell has previously said that Democrats are treating Americans as “political hostages” by holding up the funding, and has said that lawmakers can pass more coronavirus legislation in the future. Pelosi on Tuesday also criticized a $600 billion small business lending program by the Federal Reserve. She claimed that the Fed is excluding non-profit organizations, along with colleges and universities. “Unfortunately, the administration and the Fed, as of today, are excluding nonprofits,” she said. “This is a significant blow in particular to entities that are also ineligible for the Paycheck Protection Program.”... https://www.ibtimes.com/coronavirus-us-economy-pelosi-shuts-down-mcconnells-small-business-spending-plan-2958466

Pelosi gives President an ‘F,’ wants to keep the economy shut down By M. Dowling - April 19, 2020 House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave President Trump an ‘F’ for what she called “weak” leadership during the Wuhan Virus pandemic. She also said she will add $250 billion to the program that provides forgivable loans to small businesses. Pelosi held up the loan program until she gets fraudulent voting like mail-in, downloadable ballots and ballot harvesting. She lied through her teeth about why she didn’t put money in the small business program and Wallace never once asked her about these demands she is holding out for...

Pelosi & Fauci Aligned To Keep Economy Shut Down, Dems Block Small Business Aid Nancy Pelosi and Dr. Anthonty Fauci are aligned. They both say we must keep the economy shut down for a much longer period of time, but they aren’t telling Americans the entire truth. Meanwhile, the Democrats once again blocked a vital piece of legislation to aid small businesses that pay many American workers. The economy is already teetering on a point of no return. Don’t miss this. Nancy Pelosi wants to keep the economic shutdown going. On Thursday, she appeared on CNBC where she was almost giddy about the prospect of another Great Depression. “We could have another Great Depression because so many people are out of work, and that’s why we have to get the system really energized and working,” Pelosi said in the interview. “Let’s get out those unemployment checks. Let’s get out those direct payments. Let’s get these loans freed up.” How about “let’s get back to work and stop another Great Depression?” At the same time, the Senate Democrats blocked the aid package to small businesses. The Republican bill would have put $250 billion more into a loan program for small businesses that pay many, many American workers. Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci is also saying we must keep the country in lockdown because “it’s working.” “At the same time, as we’re seeing an increase in deaths, we’re seeing a rather dramatic decrease in the need for hospitalizations,” Fauci said. But Fauci said that the social distancing guidelines should remain in place. “That means that what we are doing is working, and therefore it means we need to continue to do it,” he added. The models the medical experts had offered as evidence that the COVID-19 crisis would claim millions of Americans was wrong. However, they keep telling us it was not wrong because we instituted “social distancing.” What most people don’t know is the expert’s model already had “social distancing” baked into the data. At the beginning of this crisis, Fauci and his team said the number of potential dead Americans was 2.2 million. Then, after about 12 days that number went down to 240,000 to 100,000. Now, as of April 9, the new number is 60,000. They claim the adjusting numbers are due to social distancing. That may turn out to be the most costly lie ever told in American history. “There is no shortage of government spin, regurgitated by media commentators, assuring us that the drastic reductions in the projections over just a few days powerfully illustrate how well social distancing and the substantial shuttering of the economy is working. That’s nonsense.” Andy McCarthy writes via National Review. As Alex Berenson points out on Twitter, with an accompanying screenshot data updated by IHME model on April 1, the original April 2 model explicitly “assum[ed] full social distancing through May 2020.” “The model on which the government is relying is simply unreliable. It is not that social distancing has changed the equation; it is that the equation’s fundamental assumptions are so dead wrong, they cannot remain reasonably stable for just 72 hours,” McCarthy adds... https://madworldnews.com/pelosi-fauci-economy-shut-down/

You are also very, unfair, if you did in fact delete that member's post here ---but you allowed my female offspring to troll in here?--- including your own peculiar decision to refuse to reply even after I specifically/respectfully asked you about it. tsk tsk The Dems would be very, very proud of the way you use your unfair/flagrant bias wherever you can effect GOP citizens.

Exactly. And now that we know what it takes [6-10minutes of breathing the same airspace, within 4 feet of each other] to contract the virus, then social conscienceness can be combined with social distancing plus face-masks/handwashing, to reopen the economy. And I like how you played your influenza scholarship too ... LOL ... by refusing to hon in on a pattern over recent years versus how it's galactically different than CoronaVirus over the nearly 9 weeks since deaths started.

What's false about it? Every Dem media outlet ( CNN msnbc CBS NYT WaPo ABC-News Buzzfeed etc Time Warner etc) echo this same philosophy. ... btw All I did was copy/paste an excerpt, from the link, therefore I have no control over how this website's server parsed the text in its original 'rich text' form like it is at that link

Since the CoronaVirus is turning out to be as much of a disease crisis as, the annual influenza season, then you and @Queenmandy85 might be rabidly Democrat I guess ---in order to want to keep the economy shut down: https://townhall.com/columnists/toddstarnes/2020/04/17/democrats-will-keep-the-states-closed-to-tank-the-economy-and-take-down-trump-n2567117 Democrats Will Keep the States Closed to Tank the Economy and Take Down Trump by Todd Starnes Apr 17, 2020 The new unemployment numbers are out and there's really no way to butter this biscuit, folks. Unless America's economic engine is restarted, we will be plunged into a Great Depression. Since the global pandemic hit our shores, more than 22 million Americans have filed for unemployment benefits...

You show a lot of anti-Republican bias in your posts ---all the way down to you peculiar comments about 'troll' posts here ... lol ... Plus you are correct that a global catastrophe like this is no time for politics ---as you make it clear to all, readers, that you will avoid discussing any flagrant acts by Dems who've made this a time for politics.

The link in the OP here is unsupported supposition only if you are a, Dem, who is enjoying Dem Congressmember laughing at/mocking our oil companies for losing money because people are not driving their cars since the USA is shut down. Let me know if you need more "unsupported supposition" like the veracious link provided here lol

The Deceitful Dem's #1 nemesis since late 2017? The great economy attributed to President Trump. We all are aware of the Wuhan Virus pandemic devastating the North American Frontier, for the past 5 weeks, including breaking the USA record for the most citizens ever to be unemployed/out of work, at one time. The Dems love this. Because it means a poor economy on Trump's watch. Here is an example of how much the Dems love the USA being shutdown indefinitely: http://t.latest.newsmax.com/r/?id=h1f09599fc,a58bab0,a597c82&ns_mail_uid=20127e4a-112c-4eba-b5e4-a0ec4d47ccff&ns_mail_job=DM106999_04212020&s=acs&dkt_nbr=010104gwqwy6 Help motivate the USA to reopen, for business, and then full steam ahead toward the campaign season. ... If you refuse to join the Dems in hating the, USA, then please contact the 50 states' Governors today/tell them to reopen their state for business!

Exactly. White Jews. Caucasian Jews. Yes. Jews who look like northern-Europeans for the most part. When it comes to chances at a successful life, that is the one element which never changes; skin whiteness. No matter the Race/Ethnicity, the whiter the skin then the more successful the society allows you to become. diversity quotas and affirmative action should never go away, for these reasons.

You are very deceitful here, once again. Your dishonesty helps to reveal your true mission in creating this thread. I came here more than once, to Reason, but each time I came here your empty-reservoir had no viable replies. I contributed noteworthy scholarship here, that you could not override with dishonesty, as I helped explain God's Will re: EVIL ---in a way that your insults and offensive remarks could not transcend. Here is a reminder: https://www.christianity.com/wiki/god/does-god-punish-us-for-our-sins.html Do bad things still happen because we sin? If through Jesus we are forgiven of all sin, does that mean we can now sin with impunity? Not quite. The Bible refers to the discipline of the Lord multiple times. Proverbs 3:11-12says, “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.” Hebrews 12 explains this in greater depth. Sometimes, it says, bad things that happen to us are a result of God’s discipline. They are not a retribution or punishment for sin; rather, they are a correction, as a parent would correct a child. They are not intended to break down, but rather to increase holiness in the believer (Hebrews 12:10). There are also societal or earthly consequences of sin. Just because God forgives us of murder doesn’t mean a murderer doesn’t have to serve jail time. Some negative experiences will flow naturally out of poor choices, such as financial hardship after gambling away money. These are not God’s “punishment;” they are natural results of our actions. Is everything bad that happens to me because God is “disciplining” me? There are several reasons people might suffer that have nothing to do with discipline. 1. Show God’s Glory In John 9, Jesus and his disciples encounter a man who has been blind from birth. The disciples ask Jesus, “Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?” (John 9:2) “‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him’” (John 9:3). The disciples were operating under a common assumption of the time that any suffering one experienced was the result of sin that had not been confessed and atoned for. Jesus gave an alternate reason: a person might suffer so that God would be glorified. A person might suffer for a time so that they might experience an even greater good in the future. 2. Improve Us and Bring Us Closer to God When times are good, it’s easy to forget about our need for God, even though He is the one sustaining the very world we live in. It’s easy to become complacent in our relationship with Him. Thus, Paul writes, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope” (Romans 5:3-4). Suffering helps us to lean on God and improves our character. Thus, sometimes suffering is for this reason rather than as the result of any poor choices. 3. A Result of Following Christ In John 15:18, Jesus says, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” Christians face discrimination, persecution, and even death for their faith. In this case, the bad things that happen are because the Christian is doing something right. Jesus warned that a sinful world would hate those who were “not of the world” (John 17:16). Paul encourages us to rejoice in these sufferings (as noted above in Romans 5:3-4).

You can get mad at me, sure, but you can't change the facts ---When you wake each day, and see which Race of people do control Canada GOVT and the USA GOVT, you know it's true. When you look and see which Race of humans own 95% of all wealth and assets, you know it's true. When you admit which Race owns or controls 97% of all Canadian banks and USA banks ---you'll know it's true and you'll also remember then that there's nothing you can do to change the fact that we enjoy White Privilege.

You put this very eloquently for sure pal in terms of, THEORY, altho not in terms of those practical ways which things do wind up actually working out. For example, in the USA and Canada, negros own no Industries negros control no Markets and negros dictate no Cultures. Whereas we Whites own every Industry and control every Market and we dictate every Culture ---collectively known as, White Privilege. Which then makes it, irrational, for us to equate Negro's racism to White people's racism.
