You are. In Classical Athens, romantic sexual friendship plus between man and adolescent boy, was great - and highly philosophical - but nobody talked about 'homosexuals'. Nobody had such a concept until very much later, and it was very recently indeed that anyone saw serious connection between it and female one-sex behaviour, and not many talked about the female version at all - they talked about buggery, a criminal offense.

'Homosexual behaviour'suggests there are special kinds of people called homosexuals. 'Buggery' means anyone can go in for certain kinds of behaviour. Trying to force the past into our current cranks destroys all understanding.

Who needs 'Israel'?

Neither do I. Does it perhaps mean a czarist doctor? It is a new concept to me.

No, of course it didn't. That there are special kinds of human beings called 'homosexuals' is a modern concept. It is as silly to attempt to force modern concepts on the past as it is to enforce Jewsish tribal religion of the present.

Did the ancient Jews have a concept like 'homosexuality' rather than just certain kinds of proscribed behaviour, and if so, why should we care?

The whole business is hopelessly complex, because clothes are a sort of message-code with different groups meaning different things. Females dress 'sexy' to attract (presumably) males they fancy, where as silly males regard this as a general message, permission to rape or some sort of droit de senieur for bossmen, bossy persons in schools love to tell students what to wear, almost all girls in their early teens want to look sexy without considering the consequences because it's a way of growing up. We're just a silly species, if you ask me. I had to wear a cap when I was in school, but I grew enough hair to hide it altogether unless some teacher made a thing of it, at which point it was revealed.

The point, quite simply, is that the current Nazi colony in Palestine is a product of racist European nationalism. Many persons born Jewish hated everything Jewry stood and decided their future was to become yet another boring, tedious Volk after the Nazi model, while their Great Model murdered normal decent Jewish people. You forget the ignorant and the stupid. There is no country called Britain, four or five nations in the UK, and I can't see they have much in common.

In an age of nations, territories united only by royal marriage are not a very good bet.
