  1. I want our medical system to explore all alternatives to addictive pharmaceuticals. They should be a last resort applied in controlled medical settings. pain is natural, it reminds you you're alive. Physicians have been overprescribing opiates for the last decade. We are reaping the consequences. Of course, some patients deserve the strongest pain medicines, but the hippocratic oath still should apply. And yes, i'm aware that a lot of it is coming from Pacific rim countries, the profit margins are incredibly high. You can make 200k profit on one kilo of fentanyl.
  2. Because the catholic church has always sought theocratic rule and if they can use muslims and jews to destroy each other and come on on top then they will consider it a win.
  3. Because of the big pharma lobby keeping our politicians from making any real changes. Oxycontin and fentanyl do more damage than good when used outside of a controlled, medical setting. They are selling those naloyone (sp!) whatever kits to combat fentanyl overdoses now. They go for hundreds of dollars a pop. Hmmm manufacture a crisis and then sell a band-aid cure, gogo Big Pharma! I don't want a country of opiate addicts, go hang out in the lower east side of Van for proof why.
  4. The damage is done, two generations were forcibly separated from their culture and families, no amount of apologies can change that. The lyrics are quite poignant. You gotta go and get Angry at all of my honestyYou know I try but I don't do too well with apologies I hope I don't run out of Time could someone call the refereeCause I just need one more shot at forgiveness I know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twice And by once or twice I Mean Maybe a couple a hundred times So let me oh let me Redeem oh redeem oh my self tonight Cause I just need one more shot at second chances YeahIs it too late now to say sorry Cause I’m missing more than just your body Is it too late now to say sorry Yeah I know that I let you down Is it too late to say I'm sorry now I’m sorry yeahSorry yeahSorryYeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I’m sorry nowI'll take every single piece of the blame If you want me too But you know that there is no innocent one in this game for twoI'll go I'll go and then You go you go out and spill the truth Can we both say the words and forget this YeahIs it too late now to say sorry Cause I’m missing more than just your body Is it too late now to say sorry Yeah I know that I let you down Is it too late to say I'm sorry now
  5. Let them sue. In the meantime we will be making medications more accessible to Canadians.
  6. If everybody runs and nobody fights, oppression wins. Lines must be drawn somewhere.
  7. If you read the commission's report on residential schools you will be horrified. 6000 kids dying and many thousands more scarred for life is no joke. 60% of the abuses occurred under catholics, yet they have never apologized not offered restitution. Trudeau's taking the hit for them like the good Jesuit he is and putting the bill on Canada, not the religious institutions that propagated the abuse.
  8. This is where free market competition comes in. You take a few from Pfizer and few from Merck, few from Glaxo Smith Kline, a pharmacare program means that certain drugs will be given preference over others. Any one of these companies can make an epi-pen. We have buying power of 40 million people plus a subsidized healthcare system. Surely one of them will play ball. Canada enforces controlled monopolies almost as a rule. The problem is finding medical professionals and politicians that aren't bought and paid for by Big Pharma that will make neutral, rational scientific decisions about which options are best for Canadians. Government needs to remember that it is the gatekeeper, not the ticket booth operator. Businesses exist at our leisure, time to make NAFTA work for us for a change.
  9. I think that the top 50-100 curative drugs in use should be part of a pharmacare program. The program should be reviewed every year or two to see which drugs are being used the most and the government should negotiate a deal for better pricing. Only the most effective drugs should be considered. Should opioids or boner enhancers be on that list? Hell no.
  10. Climate change isn't going to oppress women, behead infidels, or throw homosexuals off of roofs.
  11. I call false equivalence. And it would depend on who was the owner of the firearm. I doubt a charge of manslaughter would even be brought forward. Likely would be criminal negligence causing death.
  12. If you're using a condom on a one-off relationship, you are still making an effort to prevent pregnancy. Of course anything that has a 1/5 failure rate isn't effective long term. The point is that the conscious effort was there. Unfortunately, most birth control methods rely on the woman's preparation, there is also a morning after pill. Using a condom on a one-night stand should be enough to prove that the outcome of a child was not intended. Many women have claimed to be on the pill when in fact they weren't. A man can only do so much. Thanks for the quote tutorial. Going to a Jesuit school doesn't necessarily make you a Jesuit. Taking the Jesuit oath does. You can't tell me that one of most devious Catholic organizations in history would pass on an opportunity to recruit somebody so highly placed. The mosque shooting fits the Hegelian dialectic to a T.
  13. and what bcsapper said. Sorry I'm new and have no clue how to multiquote. Both situations are covered by my position. Rape isn't consent to produce a child. In this instance, the child's right to life supersedes the man's absolvement of parental responsibility. Please keep the hypotheticals coming, I've thought a lot about my position on this and it's unassailable. If a man uses a condom, it fails, woman gets pregnant, the man needs some redress and protection against being culpable for another human life that he has very little control over after the deed is done. In this era of promiscuous, casual, recreational sex, there needs to be protections for both sides. Only misandry would argue against that.
  14. I never said that an embryo is a human. I agree that embryos are not unborn babies. They are more like planted seeds. If Monsanto and various agrotech companies can patent seed hybrids and the resulting IP, why are humans not afforded the same rights. A planted seed naturally wants to grow. It took two farmers to put it there, and one field to grow it in. The current argument is that the one farmer that doesn't own the field gets to choose whether or not to continue the growth of the seed they knowingly fertilized. I say that's bullshit. If both "farmers" did not acknowledge that they were only having sex for recreation, nor use any protection, and both of them consented. The decision on whether to allow that seed to become a plant should rest in both of the "farmers" decisions. Not the one that owns the field. Fetal consciousness is highly debated but by month 6, fetuses can detect light, heat and sound. I would go so far as to say that as soon as a fetus develops a heartbeat it should be considered human based on common medical practise of calling death after the heart has stopped beating for so many minutes. Yes, women should be able to abort fetuses that test positive for known defects and genetic aberrations. I eventually want to see our children's genes being enhanced with testing done of both parents to ensure the strongest offspring possible. I also think that reproduction is a privilege, not a right and many societal ills could be cured by limiting uncontrolled reproduction by unfit parents. But I digress. Trudeau isn't just a Catholic, he's a f****** Jesuit. As was his father. Check the Jesuit Oath. The UK parliament passed an Unlawful Oaths act in the 1800s to prevent people in secret societies and orders from taking public office. I'd like to see something similar in Canada. He claims transparency but the only thing obvious about him is his globalist agenda. Neocons and neo libs have the same agenda with similar authoritarian measures. The only difference is the approach. Neocons go for "its for your own safety and security" angle with neolibs take the humanist, equality of outcome, virtue signal cultural marxist approach. Expanding corporate power and limiting personal freedoms is the end game.
  15. Yeah, I'm all for debate, not one-sided copypasta ad campaigns.
  16. IKR, I used the rhythm method for years with various gfs and you can still have unprotected sex directly after the period. Using abortions as birth control is for stupids. At most you should get one, I knew girls that had multiple abortions in junior high. Deplorable.
  17. I would say 16, I wouldn't want to see a subject as complex as faith taken on in elementary or middle school. I don't think that younger students need permission slips to pray privately on their own time. No imams, pastors, priests, vicars, in public schools leading prayer ever. Of course not, it's hate speech. Are you being serious with these softball questions?
  18. 1) Students should be allowed to pray if they want, provided its on their own time during breaks and what not. No safe space required. No outside religious leading or influence though. I'd like to see a mandatory faiths class where all religions (including secular atheists) and belief structures are discussed and students are encouraged to discuss their religions. It'd be a good way to get the muslims expelled for intolerance. Faith should be private and personal, not forced upon others. Religion corrupts faith through dogmatic reinforcement of values that are often hypothetical. Organized religion is a control apparatus and hierarchy. Is it possible to be anti-religion and pro-belief/faith? 2) Not by my definition of indoctrination because all of our collective psyches are shaped and formed by family, religion, school, society, laws. We are all participants forced to establish value sets. Some people just like simple solutions to complex issues. As much as we absorb passively, we also choose actively. 3) It all depends on how much power those 3% possess. ideals are nice, but reality in an state capitalist system dictates that there will always be power discrepancies. But on principle, no, a tiny minority should not be allowed to dominate a majority provided equal rights and status.
  19. Are painkillers really curative substances though? Last time I checked, nobody died from the sensation of pain. It was the things causing the pain that are life-threatening. Big Pharma and the chinese getting us hooked on phonics again.
  20. Marrying your first cousin because of cultural tradition is extremely short-sighted and ignorant. it also creates cripples that can't function in society. sue me for being pragmatic.
  21. Lol, no, you are taking men's choices away by giving all of the reproductive rights to the female who contibutes an equal share of genetic material.
  22. It's cool, I'm just used to ad hominems, I'm trying not to resort to them myself as often these days. I realize that Canada has had its fair share of bigotry but those are individual cases. Continued reinforcement of egalitarian values coupled with clear, enforceable laws will cause a shift. It already has. Not 20 years ago I recall gays getting "fagbashed", I haven't even heard of an incident like that that was a one-sided assault by a homophobic canadian where i live for quite awhile. You are drawing incongruent parallels though. Theocracies create fanatics. Muslims are reinforced to be exclusive, oppressive and deceptive towards those not of their religion. None of the abrahamic religions permit the same behaviours. When you take the products of those oppressive theocracies and thrust them into our culture, of course there will be friction. Why not take immigrants that share your cultural values? Why isn't saudi arabia, chair of the UN council on human rights using the temporary housing of which they have capacity to hold thousands of people? Why did SA just expel 50k pakistanis? I don't want to pick up the human pieces from CIA globalists and banksters meddling in foreign governments.
  23. The problem is that natural selection isn't as prevalent as it was even as recently as 100 years ago due to medical advancements and abundance of food. Pakistanis are still marrying their first cousins and north africans/middle east have the lowest average IQs in the world. I don't want a bunch of knuckle draggers anchoring our social safety nets. I want healthy intelligent innovators with fresh ideas and perspectives and something to contribute to the prosperity of Canada.
  24. @dia Exactly my point, if a women wanted to protect herself from pregnancy, she can take appropriate measures as well. Once the union is made and a zygote is produced, I submit that that unique entity has a right to grow as the joint act of coitus is designed to produce it. If not, then parents should have the right to jointly choose to terminate their children at any time. It's time to decide whether children are the genetic property of their parents or whether they are individual entities with individual rights. Our current system wants the best of both but the consequences of neither. having the womb-holder with 50% of the spawn's genetic property having 100% of the reproductive rights is unjust and shows a distinct gender bias based off of unchangeable biology @blackbird it's not just the proliferation of abortion, it's a feminist agenda that's been co-opted by our enemies into reducing our reproduction and making us reliant on immigration. Europeans are assuredly under attack as imams have called for them to outbreed us and rape non-muslim women. I think the islamic world never recovered from the mongols personally.
  25. I don't identify as alt-right. I'm not even sure what alt-right means anymore its been so conflated and overused. Kinda like nazi, and racist and xenophobe. Labels are still divisive and counterproductive. Like me calling you a muzzy-sympathizer or regressive left. Those terms just polarize and detract from real discussion.
