  1. And we all know who is in charge of the tin hat crew.
  2. I'm sure if the Gitmo crew thought it was wasn't effective they would go straight to the waterboarding.
  3. Luckily there is a movement afoot among US states, cities and businesses who plan to honor the Paris Accord regardless of Trump's position.
  4. And this isn't the only thread were we've seen that.
  5. Irrelevant. The application is based on proceedings from the military commission at Gitmo, which has been discredited by the SC.
  6. All debunked. BTW, the exponders were all shut off or codes changed by the hijackers once they got control. These guys weren't just hijackers with a gun saying "take me to Cuba. They were trained pilots.
  7. Have you a source that proves they didn't? Or do you simply assume that 4 competent flight crews went suicidal all at one time? You just can't see to stop dancing around with that one.
  8. That has to be about the flimsiest excuse you have tried so far. There are ATC recordings of the hijackers, but you already know that.
  9. Lots of them. Where have you been. https://www.google.ca/search?q=pictures+and+videos+of+9%3D11+hijackers&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjH2om9tfvUAhVT3mMKHTHWD0AQ7AkIMQ&biw=1058&bih=474&dpr=1.25#imgrc=abgJFLllkmxKpM:
  10. When are you ever going to provide your source as to how the planes hit the buildings if they weren't hijacked?
  11. See, I told ya.
  12. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for any kind of serious answer. If we get one it will likely have something to do with nano thermite.
  13. As I suspected, ya got nothin' yet again.
  14. Just provide the resolution number and spare us your nonsense.
  15. Can you cite that?
  16. I certainly wouldn't want to have gone through what he apparently did as a kid. And yes some of things he got up to could be considered criminal, except he was a child. He was taken down that path by his father, and he ended up paying a heavy price for it. I obviously didn't know the kid then, and I really don't know the man now, at least not enough to form a valid opinion of him. Although I know there are some here who have. The interviews I have heard with him of late don't lead me to think he is a rabid terrorist. And once again, the law is the law.
  17. Yes I live in a nice little town on southern Van. Isle. Now maybe your reading comprehension is a little off as I have explained what I think of the Khadr situation. Put simply for you, Khadr was wronged, and the courts have attempted to reinstate his rights.
  18. Look up Hamdan v Rumsfeld some time and you'll get the picture. Hopefully.
  19. Don't blame us, we didn't write the law, we just understand it. Perhaps you don't care about your constitutional rights.
  20. There will be no valid lawsuit because the one being attempted is based largely on statements by the US commission which has been declared invalid by the Canadian SC.
  21. Again you have gone on at length to say not much. He was detained illegally under Canadian law, and Canada was complicit in that detention. Hence he was able to sue for compensation. It's rather simple.I don't what you think Australia laws have to do with anything.
  22. Again, none of this makes any sense. How for instance, were the Canadian SC's hands tied?
  23. Here's a quote. Would it be a moot point if it were your charter rights being violated? Or is it OK in this case because you don't like him?
  24. Indeed. Yet another lengthy screed with a load of incongruous statements. The one about charter rights not being important is quite special!
  25. The actual cluster was how the whole thing was mishandled in the first place.
