  1. Yes you should.
  2. Nope. the Supreme Court of the United States held thatmilitary commissions set up by the Bush administration to try detainees at Guantanamo Bay lack "the power to proceed because its structures and procedures violate both the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the four Geneva Conventions signed in 1949."[1] Specifically, the ruling says that Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions was violated.
  3. So then you must have heard the term habeas corpus? Bush tried to write it off with the stroke of a pen with regard to Gitmo. That's a major part of what made the place illegal.
  4. Nope. You still don't get it. It was inadmissible because it was obtained while his charter rights were being denied. It was illegal when the results were divulged illegally. I can't make it any simpler.
  5. If you were a lawyer, you would know that it was totally illegal. Read the court ruling and try to understand it.
  6. Trump seems to be heading ever further down the road toward obstruction now it comes out he crafted a statement for his son to provide when asked about the Russia meeting. Yeah, it was all about "adoption issues" ho ho ho.
  7. You think you know law better than the SCOTUS do you? I can tell you you are a long way off. Animate or inanimate has naught to do with the issue.
  8. Apparently you are not paying very close attention, or you lack legal comprehension. Canadian officials went to Gitmo and interrogated khadr and then divulged the results of that interrogation to US officials there. That is illegal. How many times must I explain that to you?
  9. P prison is a place into which you put living people. It is certainly not inanimate, and can certainly be deemed illegal. According to the SCOTUS.
  10. No. That's just your ever simple minded version. The grown ups will continue to take care.
  11. Counter argument? To what? I'll put it simply for ya: Khadr's charter rights were violated, he spent 10 years in an illegal prison, he ended up with about a million a year compensation. Maybe next time we'll pay better attention and save the taxpayer some money.
  12. You keep your crayons. More your style.
  13. Much better than you apparently. Especially the legalese portions.
  14. I don't know where you live but I spent a number of my younger years growing up in Toronto, in an area known as "the beaches" which was/is one of the most diverse multicultural regions in the country. and I always felt welcomed in whichever area of that neighborhood I traveled to. The parents spoke English as best they could while the children were fluent. The atmosphere was pleasant, welcoming, interesting. You could learn things about foreign lands without having to buy a plane ticket. and the foods were much more interesting than whatever Canadian cuisine is. I celebrate the concept of a diverse culture. No need to hide under your bed. One main reason people from the far corners come here is because they respect and admire the standards of our legal system and for the most part support it as much as those of us born here. And who doesn't love a good curry?
  15. So you fail at law, AND politics. How are you at trades?
  16. Sharing the info obtained from this type of interrogation is totally illegal. Total contradiction. I think you need more than a dictionary for this one.
  17. You just completely contradicted yourself. I suggest you stay away from law as a profession. LOL
  18. Sorry. Incoherent bafflegab again. Maybe regroup and try again.
  19. What other ways would you suggest? A nasty scolding I suppose?
  20. How long are you going to try and make something of that? I guess if that's all ya got.
  21. You seem to be incapable of answering some very obvious questions. But that's the legacy of conspiracy theory wackos.
  22. So 8 competent airline pilots went suicidal on the same day and flew their airliners into buildings or a cornfield. Do you realize how utterly ridiculous that idea is? you're just a joke.
  23. And let me make it clear, I am not jumping up and down to support what Khadr may or may not have done, however I do standby the concept his rights were violated. You don't want that to go unnoticed.
  24. You are of course certainly well within your rights to disagree with the finding. You have a right to freedom of speech. However I would add that the majority of Canadians are not lawyers and therefore may not have a comprehension as to legal and constitutional intricacies that we all rely on to sustain our rights.
