  1. Who can blame them for fleeing your racist culture. Especially now you have a White Supremacist running your country.
  2. Moral equivalence is a term used in political arguments or debate. It is an informal fallacy. The phrase describes a kind of indirect proof, but the reasoning is flawed because it distorts issues. It draws comparisons between different things to make a point that one is just as bad as the other or just as good as the other.
  3. I'll take that as a surrender.
  4. Yes you did, a number of times. Apparently you don't comprehend the concept.
  5. Nope, it means a phony attempt to equate the two. Trump tried and failed miserably. So have you.
  6. We work hard on not committing them. Muricans' use their first amendment to carry right along with them.
  7. In the same vein that you should avoid the illegal war topic, likewise mistreatment of Native people. Check your history.
  8. It seems there is no bar too low for Trump when he wants to try and pivot away from the problems he creates for himself, and/or to carry on with his bigotry. http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/trump-dangerous-lie-john-pershing-article-1.3420689 "The average person probably has no idea what Trump is talking about. But this is a reference to a historical myth that he repeated constantly on the campaign trail in spite of valiant efforts by historians and journalists to correct him. He is referring to efforts by Gen. John Pershing, later commander of U.S. forces in France during World War I, to suppress a Muslim revolt in the Philippines in the early years of the 20th century, at a time when that country was an American colony. This is the story as Trump told it last year: “General Pershing was a rough guy, He caught 50 terrorists who did tremendous damage . . . and he took the 50 terrorists and he took 50 men and dipped 50 bullets in pig’s blood. You heard about that? He took 50 bullets and dipped them in pig’s blood. And he has his men load up their rifles and he lined up the 50 people and they shot 49 of those people. And the 50th person, he said, you go back to your people and you tell them what happened. And for 25 years there wasn’t a problem.”
  9. Someone really needs to explain "moral equivalency" to these people, and the fallacy of the way they try to apply it. But I suppose if the POTUS doesn't get it, how could we expect the rank and file to.
  10. How long did you keep Aristide in the US?
  11. They didn't just allude to it, they acted on it, which is why you now have a number of people badly injured in hospital, and a young woman dead. Such symbols are already being removed here. Our PM's office no longer bears the name Langevan for instance. But following all things Canada as you do, I'm sure you knew that.
  12. Nope, actions, supported by the UN. You've heard of them?
  13. It's called the first amendment. If you had ever read (or understood it) you'd know that it not only allows for freedom of speech, but also the free exercise of religion, that includes Jews.
  14. I think we know which of those "several things" the neo nazis in Va. were alluding to.
  15. I guess the alt right boys in the US will have to get bigger vehicles if they want to keep up.
  16. You do know what a swastika is, and what it stands for don't you? Or did you miss history class as well?
  17. So you brag about bigotry. At least you're finally honest about it.
  18. That's quite obvious.
  19. I'm afraid you have it backasswards again. We did actions in Haiti, you did crimes in Iraq. Which is why your namesakes are hesitant to leave US dirt.
  20. The 2004 Haitian coup d'état occurred after conflicts lasting for several weeks in Haiti during February 2004. It resulted in the removal from office of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide preventing him from finishing his second term, and he left Haiti on a United States (U.S.) plane accompanied by U.S. military/security personnel. Aristide claims that his departure was a kidnapping, accusing the U.S. of orchestrating a coup d'état against him.[1] Aristide was forced into exile, being flown directly out of Haiti to the Central African Republic,[1] eventually settling in South Africa.
  21. As an American you should probably avoid discussions about illegal invasions. What was that place called...Oh yeah Iraq.
  22. Correct. It authorized a peace keeping mission after Aristide was toppled in a rebellion.
  23. Canada was there under a UN program known as MINUSTAH. Would you like to see my security badge from there?
  24. Getting facts straight certainly isn't of value to you it seems.
  25. Canada went into Haiti under UN resolution. The US should try doing things legally once in a while.
