Ya, and the likes of Wynn and all the other Premiers of Ontario of the past who have just about bankrupt Ontario, are all treated like kings and queens by the media. At least Rob Ford gave a dam about taxpayer's tax dollars. The others enjoyed blowing it. What a sad thing for you to call Ford an awful human being. At least Ford took on the thieves in the Ontario governments. Now those are people you should be calling awful human beings. It is incredible how people can be so brainwashed by this lame duck media that we have. If one is a real true Conservative, than they are the enemy by the liberal media establishment of Ontario. They must be always shown as awful human beings. Sad.

From my understanding, at the time there was very little work around, and those so-called immigrants were not wanted or needed at the time. Unlike today, where we keep bringing legal and illegal immigrants in when we have a 7% unemployment rate. What happened back then is all in the past now. We need to forget about it. What is needed is a moratorium on all immigration until we can get Canadians back to work. And if that means keeping the rest of the world out, too bad. Stop living in the past. There are more things to worry about today then worry about what happened to immigrants in the past. It is not on my list of concerns.

As far as I know, Sikhs,native Indians,Asians Japanese and gawd only knows who else have received an apology for what happened to them in the past. Why should anyone be demanding an apology or compensation from other Canadians when those same people were not even born yet. What happened in the past is not my problem. I was not around back then. Now what I would like to see is an apology from the federal government for wrongs being done by the francos against the Anglophones in quebec in their denying the Anglos their equal rights to be able to post signs in their English language only. The francos are never denied their rights outside Quebec. The feds would go ballistic if that were to happen.

We apologize to anyone out there who feels that they have been hard done by in Canada. Canadians today have to grovel at these peoples feet, and ask for forgiveness, even though most Canadians alive today had nothing to do with whatever happened to these people, and what they are whining about. I, as a taxpayer, owe no one an apology, and I wish we had politicians who would just stop listening to these cry baby's, and tell them to get lost. Will Canadians ever see the day when we stop producing politically correct politicians who would sell their souls just to look sweet and nice.

I agree. And maybe at the time there was a good reason for not allowing them in. I am not dismissing anything, but I think that you are trying too. Rob Ford was well liked and admired by thousands of Ontario taxpayer's whom he fought for. But with most people they still cannot seem to want to get away from all the negativity written about Ford, and instead prefer to keep looking for the bad side of him all the time. Ford was for the people and many people liked him for that. They preferred to look at the good side of Ford. I find that with most politicians they only want to get into politics for the glory of it, and the great pension plan, and push for an agenda or program that will only harm the taxpayer, and their tax dollars, not help them. Ford was not that kind of a man. I find and think that there are a lot of Canadians out there that are nothing but a bunch of detestable fools who keep showing their stunning lack of moral, honesty, integrity and values.

While silly butt Ontario goes bilingual to try and please them, they will still and always remain a unilingual french speaking province only. They don't want anything to do with the English language in quebec. We will never see the anglophone media ever mention anything about Western separatism. It will always be treated as some crazy notion by a bunch of western yahoos. Cash under the table is being done everyday. I have no problem with it. The government steals enough from we the people already. At least with paying cash, it helps keep the governments greedy hands off some of it.

The media enjoys trying to bring up something bad all the time about Trump, and it's the same thing over and over everyday, especially with the media in Canada. I pretty well watch the Canadian so-called news media everyday, and I have yet to hear anything from what Ezra Levant calls the media party(Global/CTV/CBC)about Hillary. This is something big that Hillary is being investigated on, and it should be mentioned everyday also. If they are going to constantly attack Trump everyday then they should do it also with Hillary. Otherwise, the media should shut up about what Trump may have said about women or minorities. I get sick and tired of hearing from the media about the plight of women and minorities all the time.

Well, I could say also that it is not all about you either. So, why should I lose some garage sales just because you believe that a cashless society will be just great, and better for all of us? I just cannot get those who do not see the threat of a cashless society? I guess their freedom and privacy means nothing to them. And geez thanks for pointing the fact out that cash isn't being used for that many transactions anymore these days. I learn something new every day.

It's always interesting as to why the media always seems to want to find some fault with Trump but yet never seems to want to bring up Hillary and the FBI's investigation of her that is now going on. And it is suppose to be some serious crap. I guess that the liberal establishment is hoping that the FBI's investigation will continue on until after all the primaries are finished, and the pick for the leader will have been done. And if she does become the leader of her party will the investigation somehow go quietly go away. It will be interesting to see indeed.

If I owned the media, and I didn't like you for your opinions, I could get my gang of puppet reporters to track and find information on things that you may have said or done in the past, and build up a profile of you, and make it appear as though some of the things you have said or done can be considered to be on the lunatic and hatemongering side. Words can easily be twisted around to suit the purpose of the people who are doing it. And it certainly all comes down to who controls the media in Canada. And I have a pretty good idea as to who just does own the media in Canada.
