I went out last night to hear a local band and have a couple beers with friends. The lead singer of the band was clearly not feeling well - he apologized for a couple of blunders and asked the audience "Has anyone else been sick for a week of every month for the last 2 years?" Almost everyone nodded or said Yes. One of my friends turned to me and said, "Everyone has, except for you because you didn't get the shots."

I suspect you don't have these kinds of conversations with people because you are still cheerleading for the jabs and openly whine about wanting more restrictions, lockdowns and censorship and denigrate people who live in reality
Such a twit, assuming you know what conversations people have had. I, personally, have had conversations with my coworkers and friends - some are in favor, some are not. one person knows someone who had an adverse reaction. Some resented having to have the vaccination to keep their jobs; others appreciated it. I have never advocated for lockdowns, censorship and the only person I denigrate is you because of your extreme and fanatical posting.
Not that the above would matter to you - you'll continue to make up shit about 'us".

Did you ask if the band member was vaccinated? Maybe he is also a conscientious objector and never had a shot.
My anecdote - 3 or 4 shots (can't remember), been sick once in three years. Not even very sick.
Maybe you need to ask why people in your area are so sick. Nobody I know gets sick as often as the people you know/work with, regardless of vaccination status.

On this forum, certain posters are being restricted in what words they can use here. But then others have no such restrictions imposed. This forum is censoring conservatives. How's that working out for you, Greg?
-
Actually, it didn't block me once, but it did on subsequent posts using the same words - which I've mentioned more than once on that thread. There must have been some kind of glitch the first time I posted.
If people read stuff instead of going off half-cocked, they'd not feel victimized.

And you wonder why we call you mask nazis?

There was a lot more going on than that the woman refused to put her mask back on, you liar.

Reaching out and saying hello for the first time. Hope to meet many like minded folks and share similar political points of view. Or not. Smile. Anyway, thanks for having.

The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario has recently sent out a memo to all doctors in Ontario, suggesting (not mandating yet) that they should consider that patients who have remained unvaccinated have a mental problem and they should be put on psychiatric medications.
Dr. William Makis believes this is "unethical and a very, very slippery slope. If they are suggesting that people who want bodily autonomy and don't want to take an experimental vaccine have a mental problem and should be medicated with mind-altering drugs, that is a very, very dangerous and slippery slope we are on."
-
So I took a.look and didn't find what you claim. Link, please.
As I said earlier, if it's true, then it's wrong and to be condemned.
As for following you around to argue, this is a forum in which anyone can respond to what others post. If you don't like what people say in response to your posts, stop posting.

And if the College were to put out a statement saying that such a memo never went out, would you accept that?

The US admin needs a crisis in which they can transition to a CBDC. An election would do nicely. Days of no declared winners, ensuing riots, the need for marshal law…

You people can wear a mask on your face all you want.
Me?
I’ma breath that shit right in,
and I’ll be dancing on your graves
singing hallelujah
-
Sure are bothered about masks, that's odd to say the least. Chill out, get over yourself.

Awww .. did I hurt your feelings by not responding? So sorry; I failed to notice it.
Why waste time pointing out that no crime was committed, when nobody said there had been a crime - only that he'd had a judgement against him - richly deserved. Methinks you are just trying to save face.
As for the rest, your lack of compassion and empathy doesn't make you a better person; in fact, just the opposite.

Amazing how people don't understand the difference between a civil suit and a criminal trial. Funny how they're predominantly on the right and conspiracy hacks, too.

Went grocery shopping. Yes, the grocery store, that social barometer from which we judge our worth and freedom through purchase of consumables. A place where legends are made, where we saw the heroics of our grocery clerks under covid.
Almost everyone in the place was masked. Not me of course, and a few others.
It was pitiful to see children still being made to wear it. I walked by one little boy who saw my face, and I gently smiled. Hello there, this is what people look like.
Walking through Loblaws, it’s like an idiot poll. I’d estimate about 80% of the populace, or more. Some may do it out of peer pressure, like my elderly mother in law admitted.
You dont have to wear it Ethel, I told her. Fuck the cowards.

I still wear a mask on the bus - helps keep the B.O. miasma less overwhelming. On the bus, about 80% of the riders are masked - I guess because most people understand that close confines can result in the spread of many things besides Covid.
When I go to the grocery store, about 50% of the people are masked. I don't find it necessary in stores, or the mall, or at work - but some people still do. Maybe the anti-masker bunch could respect that, instead of calling them names.
