  1. I do see a lot more hejab wearing immigrants in Canada compare to 25 years ago. The question is whether that is considered against Canadian values? Some may say yes as Canada is a Christian country and hejab is unseen of and some say no as Canada is a multi-cultural country. I would say it is a freedom of choice and a woman has the right to choose and since Canada stands for freedom and choice and women's rights then that is not against Canadian values. I don't have great issues with hejab BUT I DO have issues if they try to impose hejab wearing (or any other thing they may believe in) on other Muslims or non-Muslims. So far in Canada unlike Europe there is little evidence of that. That said we must improve our immigration polices and be selective on who we admit especially when it comes to refugees.
  2. In 1953 they stood up for their rights by democratically electing a nationalist government who nationalized the oil industry (which was being robbed and stolen by British thieves for many years). Then the British retaliated against a nation who stood up for their rights which was an underdog against British Empire by tricking the Americans into believing that the Communists are about to take over!!!!. So CIA funded and staged a military coup and as a consequence democracy died in Iran forever and Iranian nation have been paying a heavy price ever since. Now they stand up for their rights again against US Empire and it is 2017 and Israel is trying to trick Americans into action. What is going to happen this time is everyone's guess but Iran is much stronger today than in 1953. I don't believe US has the will or military power to confront Iran today and certainly not Israel
  3. Yes true statement.
  4. First educate yourself. The Missile tests are DEFENSIVE (and so are the Russian S-300 air defense missiles they received and Israel and US of A prevented their delivery until lately) not offensive. They will likely be used only AFTER an Israeli offensive. It has been something that all these years has prevented Israeli war mongers who have no consideration for civilian lives (as long as it is not a Jewish life) from attacking Iran or its nuclear facilities as they did with Iraq, Syria and the raids they have done in the past against civilian targets in Lebanon and elsewhere in ME. While Israel was allowed to develop nuclear weapons over past many years in secret Iran is not allowed to even develop a defensive missile system something that the west and US of A are planning to do against potential North Korean nuclear weapons? Is this Hypocrisy or bigotry towards Iran? If there is a love for Iran is because some educated people and those aware of history know Iran is an underdog compare to US and Israel and that Iranian people are the victims of US aggression (starting with US sponsored military coup in Iran in 1953 overthrowing democratically elected government and continued decades after) and they have met Iranians in their lives (one million Iranians in US alone) and they know unlike what has been pictured by Israeli and US intelligence/media they are not hateful, bearded fanatics with hate towards western culture but rather peace loving westernized highly educated friendly individuals who are victims themselves by both sides and being victimized again and again and again and again..............
  5. I should have said he was US president instead of he became a president. But my earlier comments that his policies led to downfall of monarch clearly indicates that it was Carter I was referring to and it is not insult if it is true. He was a peanut farmer and a peanut brain too.
  6. Btw this is not the first time certain citizens are banned entry (to be granted visa). In 1981 too during the American hostage crises another idiot peanut brain American became president of the United States and not only his policies led to the downfall of the monarch in Iran but also ban Iranian students from obtaining student Visa. Canada and Australia also imposed this ban. This ban lasted over a year.
  7. The current immigration system needs improvements and some significant improvements too. We can't do much about the bad apples already here except to enforce existing laws that if they are immigrants and commit crimes then deport them or if citizens then put them in jail (unfortunately we don't have Capital Punishment to send them to hell). But in future we must base our system on selectivity based on Canadian values (Respect for human rights and equality and respect for women and compassion and love of neighbor and respect for freedom and democracy), as well as merits (education, assets, employment potential, contributions to Canada). Unfortunately most of our politicians are too afraid to make it happen anytime soon and even attack those who dare ro speak up. Too sad.
  8. Again I point out the SELECTIVITY. Only under those conditions we will find our way to heaven otherwise if we let in everyone who asks or claims refugees like Germans did then we will create our own hell and God Forbid will witness our innocent women and children attacked and molested on New Years Eve as SOME Syrian refugees did last year. Kick the bastards out to the hell they came from
  9. Yes only in a few major cities like Montreal. Toronto and Vancouver but it will be extended to all over Canada, even small cities and towns. But I should have said beautiful DIVERSE faces from all races from all over the world.
  10. It would be a great day because I will see beautiful faces walking around me like walking in downtown Montreal today I see orientals, middle eastern, Caucasians, ebonies, Latin, native all beautiful faces passing by me and smiling at me. I walk a block to get Chinese food and another block to get middles eastern food and same block to get Italian, English, Russian, Japanese, American, Canadian restaurants to eat and enjoy DIVERSITY in a friendly peaceful environment where people are judged by the size of their hearts and not the color of their skin. Heaven as I call downtown Montreal will be extended to all over Canada and Canada will be the heaven on earth.
  11. True statements. So be selective as who comes in and future immigrants must be compatible with Canadian values. A good majority from certain region are not but still there are some who are. Immigration policies must improve to select those.
  12. I hope that I live to see that day as it would be a greatt day provided immigrants are selected based on values as well as merits
  13. Those many are wrong. I know Muslims who are as westernized as any western man and woman. They party, drink, dance enjoy life as anyone. Not all Muslims are fanatics praying 5 times a day wearing burka growing beard same as not all Christians are church going, anti-abortionists, Christ loving fanatics. This is stereotyping. You may see them all over the workplace, public malls and buses without realizing they are Muslims because of stereotyping. We need to SELECT those who are compatible or ready to accept and respect our way of life or live their own lives in a peaceful manner.
  14. I didn't know Dialamah or that she is a female. And no I never meant that she doesn't have compassion for the victims. I was just suddenly surprised to see sympathy for murder's family and not the victims in same sentence. I understand now and extend my apology to her and you too.
  15. What I have been saying is that we need to improve our immigration policies to be more SELECTIVE as who gets into this country. I always opposed a regional ban or a ban based on religion but always promote the idea of selectivity. Those who are not compatible with our high values of equality (of races, gender), respect (for other cultures and religions and women), compassion, freedom and democratic way of life must be barred from Canada regardless of where they come from and that extends to those who wish to impose their way of life upon us. If they CHOOSE to come here then they must already be compatible with these values or accept them and NOT try to change those who are born here or are living here..
  16. But it doesn't go without saying for the murder's parents right????
  17. You are trying to cover up the facts. The timing is too much of a coincident to rule out (and I said very likely). The speeches and rhetoric create a hate environment in which a virus like this guy or guys can grow and thrive. Implying that certain group or groups are a danger or against our country or nation incites some crazy idiots or losers or nutshells (and they are plenty in all societies western or eastern) to take the matter into their own hands and murder in order to protect their people/country/family or whatever he may feel is in danger. In their minds they are doing society good and are following Trump's way.
  18. Then maybe in your post you should have mentioned both.
  19. Geez you worry about his parents!!!!! What about the parents of all those killed and those injured??
  20. I was merely suggesting that since he is already 27 years old and average lifespan for men in Canada is 77 then he will serve only 50 years of the 150 years so they might as well punish him with 500 years it does not make any difference.
  21. In a separate thread I posted a few months ago I asked for a return of Capital Punishment to Canada for violent crimes against women and children and mass crimes including acts of terrorism. Unfortunately he would serve only one-third of that. In a separate thread I posted a few months ago I asked for the return of Capital Punishment to Canada for violent crimes against women and children and mass murderers including acts of terrorism. I can see that a life sentence without parole may be as good.
  22. What on earth is this supposed to mean!!!!!!!!. Where did I say I have a monopoly to conclude based on evidence at hand? It is a known fact that those who are spreading hate in any shape or form against any group of people are responsible for the violence that follows. They may not be the ones who pull the trigger but they are responsible.
  23. The timing of this hate attack makes me wonder if Donald Trump's recent action to ban Muslims entering US and the publicity it receives had anything to do with this hate crime. Something in my mind says very likely.
  24. I think it was somewhat expected (though we all hoped it would never happen) but the other way round (a terrorist attack by an outsider Muslim extremist against Canadians rather than a terrorist attack by a born Canadian extremist against Muslims!!!!)
