Did you read what you quoted. I said I was a teacher and had hundreds of male and female students and in exams and final grading and industriousness female students generally speaking and on average did better. What kind of proof do you want? Like a lie detector device to test people who is smarter?.
-
This is a very evil response as you completely distorted my comment just to win a debate (you completely ignored the word "Physically weaker" I used in my comment). Does it worth it that much to win a debate to lie and distort? I have always said women in general are smarter (I know it first hand being a university teacher for years) and have bigger hearts (generally speaking bigger hearts and minds but smaller body) BUT it is also a fact that generally speaking women are physically weaker than men (most not as tall without as much muscles and heavy punch force and weight that generally men enjoy) that is why there is so much violence against them. Being weaker physically is a fact I stated. I am a strong feminist and you tried to make me look bad just to win a debate. Shame.

When I said I prefer a dictatorship I was of course joking (and yes a system that the dictator hears God's voice we do have it somewhere as we speak) but in any system justice needs to be served. That is a BALANCE between the rights of the victim and the murderer/rapist. The way that our justice system is now as I see it is that the murderer/rapist has all the rights to defense and a trail and the victim had nobody defending her when she was being raped and murdered. This is an INJUSTICE system.
-
So democracy means victims have no rights but the murderer/rapist dressed nicely in court gets the lawyer and the jury and the judge and a chance to walk away with all kinds of excuses (yeah God told me so) or technicalities or even when convicted go on parole soon after and commit another murder/rape and take another victim?. I think then I prefer dictatorship

Correction: I meant to say her parents and grandparents are born Canadians not "my". But the power of editing has been taken away from me!!!!!!
-
There should be harsher penalties for crimes against defenseless. Women and children in most cases are physically weaker than men.
-
My friend's child is sick. She is a born Canadian and so are my parents and grandparents. Her teenage child is very sick and needs treatment. I heard today that government only pays part of it!!!!! She has to pay the rest which is thousands of dollars and she cannot afford it. I could not believe that Canadian government does not pay fully for a very sick teenage citizen while spending hundreds of millions of dollars to bring refugees from abroad who have no association with Canada. I am sad. I m also sad when I see homeless citizens sleeping in the cold in downtown Montreal. What the hell is wrong with our system? In this one of the top democracies in the world!!!!

I have said it again and again we must bring back Capital punishment for violent crimes against women and children, cold blooded murderers (hearing God's voice my ass), and mass murderers/terrorists. There is a lot of things wrong with our system even in this one of the top democracies in the world. Very sad.
-
If true this is ridiculous that Canada accepts people into this country for a lifetime without even seeing them who they are and a chance to assess their suitability and adaptability!!. What is wrong with the system in this country!!!!!!!.

Are we not allowed to edit and or delete our own posts?
CITIZEN_2015 replied to Smallc's topic in Support and Questions
It wasn't like this before. I remember I could go back ages and edit my posts either because of a mistake I made or an idea or opinion expressed poorly or change my mind or view about something I said. I am not talking about deleting but EDITING. And I care about this forum not other forums as I am a member only here. -

You got the words right out of my mouth. Well said. I will think twice likely many times before I post again as the editing power even has been taken away (at least from me) a few hours after the post is made!!!!!! Why should I not be able to edit my own posts???? -
A president can be impeached if he or she breaks the law like Richard Nixon did but Trump in my view has not broken any laws just keeping promises he made in his campaign and voted in in spite of those wild promises. My 2 cents.

It shows how little you know and understand. Seriously did you post above? In 1980 Iran military was non-existence as per massive executions of it Generals, massive post-revolutionary dismissals, and near civil war that followed the 1979 revolution not to mention military sanctions and lack of spare parts, training and military exercise by the air force and army in general. You compare Iran's army today some 40 years later with then. Seriously!!!!!!!!! As I said a limited military strike on iran will only worsen everything for everyone. It won't achieve anything but devastation.
-
You are wrong. Israelis have proven that they attack only if the enemy is defenseless. They made a lot of noises and threatened many attacks on Iran past many decades but they never went further than talk (unlike Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine,....) why because they were aware Of Iran's military ability to strike back real hard. We are talking about a limited strike by US. It will have NO positive effect only makes everything worse and much more dangerous for everyone. It will not result in regime change in Iran to the contrary will strengthen the hands of hard liners and then it would likely create a war between Iran and other regional powers like Saudis and Israel and God knows what else will follow. ps - This forum has become so difficult to edit a post!!!!!

Deleted.

Hard for you to understand that the past may predict the future especially when it comes to similarities. Anyhow it would be a grave mistake for the US to go alone in war with a regional superpower.
-
It is NOT off topic as it relates to possible future actions by US against Iran. Now Iran situation is very different with USSR. Intimidation and war mongering will have a totally opposite effect and will move them AWAY from any negotiation. There are at least two governments in Iran and the hard line one prays for confrontation with US as they have been losing to moderates recently. What worked on Soviets will not work on Iran but have the opposite effect.
-
Reagan too did a lot of tough talking before he became president but he was the one who actually started negotiating with Soviet Union. It is one thing talking tough during campaign and another to act during presidency.
-
Any limited military strike on Iran will likely have devastating consequences for the region and the US of A itself if not the whole world. Trump administration must think long and hard and not to jump into rush or emotional decisions that may well result in total devastation of the region and the world. And this is not a speculation.

America under President Trump

Democracy will prevail. Democratic institutions in the US are much more powerful than ONE man who has been put temporarily in charge of decision making in the US by a minority of voters. -
Muslims Shot and Killed in Quebec City

To correct your statement - what SOME Muslims say and I think it is debatable even among Muslims themselves if hijab is dictated or is a requirement of that religion. -

Because I see that as a likely major factor when it comes to backlash against Muslims as some may see it a threat to Canadian values. Some idiot nutshell may even go too far to correct the situation (like attacks on Muslim women reported during Harper Federal campaign last year) -

There have been very few hejab wearing women I have known in my life. One was my classmate from Kuwait who we did our assignments together (we were in the same team). I was nervous at first how to behave and not accidentally touch her or shake hand with her at first but later on I realized she is like anyone else just with extra hejab. The second was my tenant and same story. I don't believe you have known many hejab wearing people in your life either if any at all so your statement is based on speculation rather than fact. If you stand for freedom of choice and women's rights (even though we both see hejab as a symbol of oppression) then you should have no issues if hejab is her choice rather than imposition by family or culture (which for those living in Canada in most cases is her choice). And certainly should be tolerated or even accepted in a true multi-cultural society.
