  1. That's a good conservative approach. Attack those that have less. What about the real scammers hey? What about CORPORATE TAX CUTS? You want to ease the burden on taxes, go after the real dead weight! Your wasting your time with the small nickel and dimers collecting EI. We're not saving piddly squat by going after EI cheats! WWWTT
  2. Still no sex threads allowed on MLW. Waldo, what happened to your tug boat update? Once that went the obvious route, it vanished.

no sex please, we're (descendants of the) British!... or, at least some of us are!

  3. New term coming out of this is "Radicalized" Ok then, so who wants the first go in defining what this means. Soft terrorism? Terrorism light? I thought Harper and his government were radicalized? WWWTT
  4. Ya I think that's what Harper/Baird were really looking forward to unfolding. They're going to have to spin this one until it looks like a bombing. WWWTT
  5. I think Harper/Baird think that the crazier they are, all the better! After all, what good is a pacifist terrorist to a conservative?!?!?! WWWTT
  6. Thanks for enlightening us there Derek! Got to wonder now who's next to commit "terrorism" in Canada? WWWTT
  7. I'm guessing not Young Drivers of Canada? WWWTT
  8. If Harper/Baird was everyone, then one would think that they would get more votes at election time. WWWTT
  9. And what about that guy whom "allegedly" killed those RCMP officers in N.B.? Basically what you are saying is that when people do allegedly bad things, it's never the government's fault. It's the fault of our freedom's and liberties interfering with the governments ability to exert its will. WWWTT
  10. That depends on how much Harper/Baird milk this incident. WWWTT
  11. I think the phrase you're looking for is "trial" or innocent until proven guilty? WWWTT
  12. So when was the last time the opposition was up in arms for a suspected "terrorist" being arrested in Canada? Where's the link? WWWTT
  13. You sound disappointed that the soldiers didn't die. Like I said before, I DON"T CARE! Let me rephrase, I GIVE A RATT"S ASS! But don't let my lack of salivating enthusiasm from an alleged rare terrorist event stop you from getting all excited and pumped up ready to jump out of a plane behind enemy lines in a Muslim country shooting thousands of rounds of bullets at every burka you see! WWWTT
  14. Actually I don't really care. Keep milking this gift because not many come by in Canada. So let me ask you something, how many press releases and interviews will the conservatives do covering this story. 60? 70? WWWTT
  15. Never said anything about religion. You did! Like I said before, TERRORISTS are in short supply in Canada, not everyday you get a gift like this so keep milking it for all you can! WWWTT
  16. Sounds like he had some mental health issues. But Canada is in short supply of "Live Terrorists" so you guys gotta milk this gift for all it's got! These guys are in real big demand in Canada so don't let this opportunity slip away! WWWTT
  17. White Canadian shoots cop=mentaly unstable. Muslim Canadian shoots cop=terrorist!

  18. Any speculation/bets out there on how long the conservatives try to link this to their support of Israel during question period? Anyone? I give it by mid next week. WWWTT
  19. Well it looks like the conservative dreams have been answered. I would expect Harper and Baird to make 40-150 press announcements and interviews in the following days. Harper to staff "clear my schedule for the next two weeks, my prayers MAY have been answered and I've got to milk this baby for all it's got!" WWWTT
  20. I find this point to also be a good one. WWWTT
  21. Good point! WWWTT
  22. Ya I find this comment a little over the top. Its just about taking an oath buddy. WWWTT
  23. First off, good thread topic! This BRICS bank was big news on CCTV 4 news channel several months back. I also noticed that it seems to be geopoliticly driven. One in SA, Africa and the rest on Asia. No Islamic countries, and for the exception of Brazil, not much religious driven either. Why is this? Clearly lots of counter western politics driving behind this new institution. Interesting to see if it will expand to other countries and where they are located and their politics. WWWTT
  24. If I'm wearing a hat, upon entering a union meeting, I have to take that hat off. Same goes for entering a church. I do so willingly for respect of those institutions. Applying some respect for our Canadian institutions seems in order to me. And as long as the rules are applied across the board fairly as another poster mentioned earlier, I don't have a problem with it. WWWTT
  25. Sorry but I'm not as confident. I miss spoke. Instead of trial, I should have used the word "courtroom". A citizenship judge usually presides over the ceremony. And here's another one that should give some insight: Citizenship judges speak to new citizens about the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, but it is also at these ceremonies and at promotional events in the community for new and established Canadians that judges pass on their pride, enthusiasm and respect for the institution of Canadian citizenship. Taken from here http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCoQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cic.gc.ca%2Fenglish%2Fcitizenship%2Fcit-ceremony.asp&ei=hcpDVISWI8mwyASSxYLoCw&usg=AFQjCNF9y7WKjg2aMUp8N0X7UiF40WC7Kg&bvm=bv.77648437,d.aWw&cad=rja Ceremonial or not, it is still the final step and citizenship can not be achieved without attending. Also that last sentence that I pasted "respect for the institution of Canadian citizenship" reflects the arrogant nature that some judges have when they preside over a trial. True it's not a courtroom, but a judge still controls the proceedings. It can go either way and I'm not calling it. WWWTT
