Bingo! Another thing I have noticed with similar threads is that there is a distinct isolation of the public sector. When this term "public sector" is used it is almost assumed(and I don't know why)that we are strictly talking about certain unionized public workers.And not the police,firemen,military,politicians,health care and maybe two or three others. Beyond that I have nothing more to contribute to this thread. WWWTT

There is also another option to disatisfied citizens.Other than spoiling your ballot or making a green protest vote. And that is protesting publicly. Has worked wonders in the middle east.However spoiling a ballot there was never an option. It seems that public protests in Canada has simmered down since the big G20 bltz. WWWTT

Ok here's my take on this subject. Trying to save the tax payers money is a good thing. Trying to legislate yourself an advantage over others is discrimination. But having said that lets not forget about trying to save taxpayers money! WWWTT

Thanks everyone for participating Harper is not stupid or tone deaf.He knows he was singing very poor He was not well rehearsed and needed more time to dedicate to his vocal training,I am sure this is currently immpossible for him He obviously never wanted to do this stunt but for some reason he did out of an act of desperation I have read over all the coments on this thread and every tory supporter hear thought he was good or either attacked me to avoid saying that he was good I think I proved my point Ha! This has bein a real bad week for Harper.He's coming off sounding very desperate. I thought this was the case when I saw his performance singing a duet earlier this weak. I have heard people here say that he did this performance because he would win promo points,but he really embarisingly stuck his neck out.He downright humiliated himself publicly.Act of desperation. I said this before and I will say this again-the conservatives never wanted this election and spring elections are bad for the incumbant.Real Bad! I could be wrong. Heres another good example of someone who has never stood on the corner of Dundas/Spadina with an acoustic guitar singing a song by the flying Burrito Bros. Do you guys know what musicians think of people who descrate the sanctions of music with political undertones? Actually everyone has a "normal voice" Your voice box is a muscle that needs to be excercised.This is why from time to time well known excellent vocalists have bad performances expecially if they have not bein practising. The opposite is true,you can over-exert yourself and cause damage to your chords. Harper sucks,maybe if he practised at vocals he may prove me wrong.Until then he sucks! I had recently asked an associate in China what she pays for interest on her card. Are we not in an election campaign right now? Can Harper still dictate what Canadas foriegn policy is? I am not sure of what the politicians role durring an election campaign so maybe some members can enlighten us. However in my opinion I believe that Harper should not be making any such claims,it gives a false impresion that he is still the prime minister and I believe that when an election is called he losses this distinction. After all the votes are counted a new PM will be selected. WWWTT

Why don't you ask Harper that question,he was the one that felt it neccessary to do an audio assault on everybody. And I had never tried to imply this had anything to do with any such policies other than why he should open his mouth to try to form a musical note with his vocal chords. Ok now we are getting somewhere. I believe the loses of these two planes are acceptable. However the bombs missing their targets I am not sure about. Aswell there is another fact to consider. And that is who is invading Canada.Is that what these planes are for?To deter a possible invasion from other countries? There is a cost to being involved in all these foreign campaigns.Was Canadas foriegn policy a catalyst for all these problems we are currently engaged in?I do not believe so. So why are we helping everyone else out.
