I am not arguing that China was a very,very poor country at one time! But around the late 1970's(over 30 years) ago China's economy has been growing every year at a rate that has never been witnessed or duplicated by any other country since the industrial revolution began around 150 years ago! There is no other country in the world that can make this claim! WWWTT

Go back to quote #52 that you were originally responding to where I use the word "uninterrupted" In the last 150 years there has never "been" a country that has had an economy that has grown like China's uninterrupted!(or something like that) Where did I say China's economy was "interrupted"??? I doubt it. Our democracy is partially set up to avoid this. In 2015 the NDP will be in power and there will be balance in the force once again. Canada is not really a war starting country (big part of the reason why we should pull out of NATO that pulls us into wars) WWWTT

You understand that these numbers are percentages? Meaning that according to the stat here for China 9.5% growth means that China's economy increased 9.5% of what it is at currently. And since China's economy is the second largest in the world and probably greater than half of the US then this is proof that their economy grew by the largest actual amount ant not by the largest percentage!(and that's actually a mind blowing increase!) The US is not worried China is going to soon pass them (already has in some aspects). The US is worried about what will happen when China quadruples them! WWWTT

China invented the compass that was critical in the use for navigation of the world! China invented the use of fossil fuels and gun powder.By the way the use of fossil fuels is the cornerstone in the foundation of the industrial revolution and scientific exploitation! Who's guessing? Have you been to China?Where in China have you been? Better yet do you think before throwing insults??? The only reason why there are many Chinese students in the US is because the US is more then happy to take them. Since so many American students can not qualify who will fill the classes? As well the standards are much lower in the US,this makes it much easier for well disciplined Chinese students to breeze through. Another fact is that the English language is desirable. What about China? The fastest growing economy in the world? In the last 150 years,there has never been a country as China thats' economy has climbed so far,fast and uninterrupted. As well,traditionally China has always been the wealthiest country in the world. In the last 3,000 years,the only time China has not been the wealthiest country in the world was from the early mid 1800's till up until around now! WWWTT
