Yes this is someone who is putting their health first! Jack Layton I am sure was warned from his doctors to do the same but he refused. If the Layton family refuses to disclose the type/area of cancer he succumbed to then that is their business. Even if he died of AIDS then that would be their business and his lifestyle would have no impact on his abilities! Myself personally I would have left politics and enjoyed the rest of my days on Earth.But this guy and his family felt pretty strong or maybe are just stubborn,I don't know which? WWWTT

However recent polls suggest that the NDP will be forming a majority in 2015,so why merge? WWWTT

Well its been one year since Jack Layton died. There will be a gathering tomorrow at Nathan Philips square on Wednesday Aug. 22nd.From 6-9pm. Many MPs and MPPs will be there including Thomas Mulcair and Olivia Chow. The NDP has come a long way in the last several years and with current high polling numbers coming out it looks like we are headed for a majority NDP government in 2015.(40% in Ontario!) But from the last poll I read,this has to do with Canadians identifying themselves as left wingers instead of being righties. So maybe perhaps Jack was a little over rated? Any thoughts? WWWTT
