What this has come down to is willful ignorance on part of the liberals and black people, the same willful ignorance that let OJ off with double murder.

This is what I don't quite understand, what lack of transparency are we talking about? Most of the transcripts can be found online, there are pictures of the crime scene, we've seen autopsy diagrams, and heard forensic and blood evidence. Everything fits just as was reported by Wilson...and backed up by black witnesses. What evidence could there be that might be in favour of Michael Brown - besides the contradictory statements from Dorian Johnson.

He was falling forward, that's not in question. The idea posed is; was he standing still or was he coming at Officer Wilson? It's clear from every bit of evidence that he was coming forward - would you at least agree to that?

Ok, you're disagreeing with the idea that Brown was moving forward? Even with the position of his body, the eyewitnesses, the entry wounds and shell casings?

So, you agree that he would've had to have been moving forward.

I've never fallen head first toward someone while standing still. The evidence of the gun shot wounds (to the head) as well as body position proves that Brown was moving forward when the final shot was taken. The only question would be; "what speed was he moving". But, that doesn't really matter - because he was moving toward Wilson to where Wilson had to back away.

Why would he be falling down with head forward?

So, you do agree that he turned around and came toward office Wilson who had a gun pointed at him...Right?

Do you? Do you really wonder why? Could it be something to do with the fact that the black community would rally, riot, burn and loot on the mere suggestion that Wilson is getting paid for shooting a black man - because that's exactly how it would be perceived.

Ok, at least now we can put to rest the distance between the police car and Brown. Now, because blood and shell casings were found at a distance farther than Browns body, can you also agree that Brown turned back so far as to make Officer Wilson back peddle?

So, You're arguing the process wasn't squeaky clean - whatever! But do you argue any of the actual...facts? Michael Brown was 150 feet away from the car, shell casings were found farther than 150 feet - what does this logically tell you?

It doesn't mean nothing. You people are hanging on this 150 feet thing without putting any actual thought into it - that's to be expected. So, ok even if you take the farthest shell casing away from the car, subtract 20 feet...what does that give you? If anything it strengthens my hypothesis, it shows that Brown made it past the farthest point in which Wilson chased - proving that Wilson had to actually back-off while Brown was coming toward him. That proves that Wilson was not only in chase, but catching up. That could explain why Brown chose to stop and turn.

Also, the shell casings show that Brown was basically right on top of him when Wilson fired the last shots.

Brown says 8-10 feet. It appears that the GJ supported Browns story. But, lets use some logic; If Brown ran 35-40 feet before Wilson gave chase and assuming they ran at about the same pace and blood was found 175 feet from the car, we can assume that when Brown stopped Wilson was approximately 140-150 feet from his police car when Brown turned around. Brown died approx. 153 feet from the police car. Wilson claims he took a few step backward as Brown was running toward him. Common sense would dictate that Brown was anywhere between 10-20 feet from Wilson when the final shot was fired - depending on who ran faster and Wilson's reaction time to when he also stopped running. 20 feet is nothing when a person is already running, maybe a couple of seconds. At 10 feet, If Wilson had missed that final shot (or 2), Brown would've taken him down. P.S - Yes, you'll ask for a link or proof, anything that helps keep your mind closed, but the fact is; credible eyewitnesses back-up Wilson. If they saw Wilson over 100 feet from Brown, when the final shots were fired, I think we'd be seeing an indictment.

In Wilson's interview, he states that Brown ran 35 or 40 feet, then he gave chase. He obviously chased him about 100-120 feet before Brown turned around and came back. How far Brown was from the car is inconsequential, it's how far Brown was from Wilson that's relevant. Just because the police don't respond to questions from Daily Kos, doesn't mean there's a cover-up.

You'd think! But, there are many people on this board who are still arguing that a random white guy can in fact; pull off of a strong arm robbery, assault a police officer and then try to shoot him with his own gun....and get away unharmed!

Probably comes with a pension.

So, if I'm reading this right...and I think I am, then white cops in fact like black men a whole lot more than black men like black men.

Was Michael Brown showing racism when he showed his disrespect for Wilson or the convenience store dude?

Nobody has said anything close to that. Maybe you are loaded down with white guilt - not me. And as far as the other stupid comments directed at me; I don't know any cop who would take what you're insisting Officer Wilson should've taken from Brown. That's why it's not racism.

The reason why I don't think racism is involved is because Ive known cops and seen cops at their worst and can say for a fact, that white or black or any other colour, that dude was going down. Cybercoma must have never met a cop outside of a traffic ticket if he/she believes a white guy would've gotten away with what Brown did.

Try applying your "institutional and systemic racism" here. It was obvious this was written by a black woman before the end of the first paragraph.
