No idea, but the Model S performs fine in -2 through -5 (and in light snow). I would question long term exposure to that type of cold though, the car's computer can estimate the long term battery health, and in cold weather, it will show a slight decrease in expected life, but it seemed to return once it warmed up a bit. Likewise, though the car ran fine in light snow, you have to get Tesla to calibrate it after you get a tire change (or rotation).....

I did above......accomplishment from being selected to the noted positions and the experience gained from service in them......all prior to turning 35....a more extensive resume then our current Prime Minister.
-
I agree, and such notions can be applied to any level of government and their "various service providers", from the military, the Provincial healthcare providers, down to the local city water works and garbage collection. The question is when should elected leadership defer to the populace's uninformed opinions to govern, and how much weight said opinions should be given over experts in a given field.
-
You consider becoming the Speaker of the House of Commons or a member of cabinet, before ones 35th birthday, to be a nada accomplishment? I'd be curious to hear your assessment of our current Prime Minister's working history in his early 30s.......what was he doing then? The Trudeau supporter just said merit based

Benchmarks for what? This Government's survey?
-
But I have.......in all examples, said persons are more accomplished than our current Prime Minister (absent the instruction of winter sports and the performing arts), as such, are as qualified (if not more so) than our current Prime Minister, hence by deduction, would make a suitable leader of the Opposition and the eventual leader of Government.
-
Replace military with healthcare or public works etc..........Would most Canadians be equipped to offer informed opinions on how best to contend with public health or the distribution of drinking water or electricity?
-
But that is the point, the Government isn't clearly conveying what "services" would be lost, what it costs to keep said services, the implications of not having said services and why we need said services........as such, an uninformed public is asked to offer their uninformed opinions to square a circle that they don't understand. -------- As noted, if this survey/public input carries little weight in the process then it is simply fluff and a waste of both money and time........if it does carry weight, then it is a failure of leadership and crass political pandering.

Your bringing up the use of smartphones to contrast with the selfie-king?
-
That's a chicken and the egg argument.........What accomplishments can our current Prime Minister list, namely when he was but ~35-36 years old?
-
Is it weighted to the same degree as the defense review? Wouldn't the ultimate feedback tool be a referendum on the proposed final options for both or any Government policies changes?
-
In some aspects yes, he will be (I would assume the same with the NDP), namely on who is best posed to beat him..........I would be quite alright with a young Rempel sparring with the Prime Minister, both in the House and in debate in the the lead up to the next election.
-
I just did above.........Andrew Scheer was made speaker of the House and Rempel was made a minor Minister when she was under 35........What was our current Prime Minister doing in his early 30s?
-
Why not? ------- Like I said this Government seeks the populace's opinion on national defense, but not on electoral reform.....
-
Sure I did, I used the current Prime Minister as a litmus.......clearly being Speaker of the House or a minor Minister in ones early 30s is more accomplished then what our current PM was doing at that age, hence they should be more than qualified.
-
You know this how? I would assume if asked most Canadians would favor paying less money for the same or more levels of Government services......
-
In this case, how we will elect the next Government...........but not on how we defend our country.
-
Sure, but if the majority of middle class taxpayers favored a 25% reduction in their taxes, the government should listen?
-
I'm not off-topic, you brought up the (lack of) experience of younger potential Tory leaders......I contrasted their accomplishments in Government with that of our current Prime Minister, likewise where he was when he was in his early to mid 30s like a Scheer or Rempel.
-
And if the majority of Canadians don't want to pay taxes?
-
What percentage of Canadians favor paying taxes?
-
I wouldn't ask if I knew........the public survey either carries a measure of weight in this process or it doesn't, in which case its just feel-good fluff.
-
I'm not deflecting, I'm asking a serious question.......would a Justin Trudeau Sinclair, former drama teacher and snowboard instructor, be our Prime Minister today? Hell, would he even be an MP?
-
So the Government should seek the populace's opinion on tax policy? If said survey was done for Federal tax policy, and the majority felt only the richest 10% and evil corporations should pay taxes, would/should the government consider this opinion?
