Over on Yahoo.com, I just a report that said the US base in Afghanistan is going to expand because they are figuring on staying for at least 10 years. The bases is the former Russian base in Bagram, where I also think they have a prison there. The report, also, said there are 3X's the international troops, then there were in 2001. The US has a a record of using their military to protect their oil fields like they did in Bosnia area. So once they have Afghanistan and Iraq in their hands, they will help themselves to the natural resources of these countries, unless they has a President that cares more about people and not the all mighty $$$$! We all know how most of the world thinks of the US and if we keep playing along with the US in these wars we will get the same name-tag and so its important when the election does come that we put in a PM that cares more about the country than trying to please the neighbour!!!

Not necessarily.

We have a political party with roots in the province of Quebec that think they have no use for the common economic interest of the ROC and the U.S.

Amazing, but true.

No....you will still call me Bush_Cheney2004 because the delicious afterglow of winning that election still lingers. Not so sure why Canadains cared so much, but it was even funnier to see some of them whine on and on about a foreign election lost!
