TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's parliament on Saturday approved a nonbinding resolution labeling the CIA and the U.S. Army "terrorist organizations," in apparent response to a Senate resolution seeking to give a similar designation to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

It seems it didn't take Iran long to hit back against the U.S. after the U.S. Senate did this:

On Wednesday, the Senate voted 76-22 in favor of a resolution urging the State Department to designate Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization.

Predictable...but it has about as much weight in the real world as Axis anti-Allied propaganda did in World War 2. But, it often plays well for the home crowd.

I've got to agree with that.

I also have to say that Iran surely didn't expect the U.S. to sit back and do nothing:

In effect, the Revolutionary Guard, a radical state within Iran's Islamic state, is waging war against the United States and trying to kill as many American soldiers as possible.

According to the Pentagon, one-third of the U.S. troops who died in Iraq last month -- 23 soldiers -- were killed by "explosively formed penetrators," sophisticated bombs supplied by Tehran.

although the cia is known for covert operations and even supplying and funding terrorists in other countries, to attack governements they want to take down, from within. this is pretty much standard practice, not only for usa but other aggressive powers, israle, russia, gb...

Ahmadinejad and his parliament may be madman but they're not far off the truth.

Meaning what?

Then you would prefer to have Ahmadinejad and Islamic countries serving as top world cops?

Or would you prefer to allow nature to take its course in a 'dog eat dog fashion' resulting in total world chaos.
