Not much is printed about Mudusa or for that matter what combat our soldiers are presently going thru, this is a good read and may give a back ground info of a little piece of ground in Afgan that many Canadians have paid a price for.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

Medusa...MEDUSA.

There, that's off my chest......Christie Blatchford has been remarkable for her gritty reporting. Today's entry leaves me hollow.

Think nothing of it.

Just give 50 and thank Master Dancer for improving your slack and idle body......

I don't think Harper really thought about what the problems would be by extending the mission and one of the reasons behind that, is lack of experience in government and lack of military himself. I suppose not too many of the future PM's will have experience of fighting and what war is all about but it would sure help the PMO if they had. I believe that like Iraq ,Afghanistan needs 500,000 troops and this war will be a sore in Canadian history for many years. We can't rebuild amd help the people while there's fighting and when Iraq has most of its foreign military gone, they will filter into Afghanistan to drive the west out. This is so sad that people have to die on both sides. I wonder if they are sick of war as I am. It reminds me of the Nam war and how we couldn't wait for peace to come to the world.
