Prove it. Otherwise you are talking out of the exit side of your fuel intake.

I don't have to prove anything. You know it.

I disagree.

There isn't enough self-regulation in society. Therefore the state must regulate when they cannot regulate themselves.

The use of the right of freedom of speech cannot be abused to perpetrate a crime. Inciting hate against an identifiable group is a crime in Canada and FD is accused of crossing the line. Let them deal with it in the way these things are settled - in a court of law. If they have done nothing wrong they will be vindicated. If they have, they will be punished accordingly.

Trying to suggest that the complainant is trying to stifle free speech is absurd. Without challenges how would we ever assert it as a right?

That is the nonsense of Cultural Marxism and Cultural Marxism is cultural genocide, a crime in its self. A cultural disease masquerading as culture to destroy a culture. With the only cure being its defeat and eradication.

Ya I thought so. You're just talking out of your ear.

Cultural marxism? What are you on? Must be some good chit......

Posit the fact that people do not wish to prove things to you may be a grace for you.

Now you please tell me what Kimmy or I said about you that warranted that?

Besides you being my intellectual inferior. Na...I have much more but you don't have the capacity to understand the simple multiple syllable words and I would need to go there to explain it..

Lol...funny how the insults come when you know you lose. Been there before. No hard feelings, Pal.

Its quite simple, Posit. You understand that when you bring in these hate laws anybody can claim offense over little words and sue for ridiculous amounts of money. In this case the complainant is charging an entire website where a man posted (nothing near as foul-mouthed as your rant) about muslims. The woman was not even muslim but she claimed offense. Only she is not charging the man, but the site you see. It would seem to be a very personal attack from a woman who is not only angry at this man but wishes to stick it to the conservative site.

Now, Posit, I am not overly upset at your choice words. I know what anger is. Ive been there before and I will be there again. But you see that this could just as easily happen to you because you slipped one day on MLW. All the necessary elements are there. All it takes is "well I read this, and I began to cry, and it caused me severe emotional distress.blah blah" And in Canada they will allow you to place a nice dollar value on such a thing and get away with it for very little.

Prove it. It is nice you think that your opinion is fact but saying it over and over again doesn't make it so. I said "Prove it." Don't just repeat the same boring and mundane incompetent opinions.

I am not fond of this post you know. But nonetheless Posit I think you are a smart person. I think most people are quite smart, you know. If I didn't think they were smart I wouldn't bother arguing with them, and I argue with a lot of people, Sir.

Posit, its not a good practice to get upset over "PROVE ITs".

If you do things to "prove it" then they are really not things that you would have wanted to do. So proving things sets people off course.

I'm hardly upset. Sometimes it is fun to play with ants especially when they are trying to avoid the burning....

You like to burn ants?

Oh, I didnt make that clear and re-reading my post its easy to see how it wouldnt make sense. Sometimes I have a hard time finding the right words to convey something. Maybe if I had some of your multisyllable words I could. And its true I have a rather small vocabulary.

Hmm when I said it is not good to get upset over Prove Its.....I meant myself, not you.

Either you are the useful idiot, or you are acting the part. I suggest the later, and I could care less. Cultural Marxism is economic Marxism translated into cultural terms and better known as political correctness. Most are unaware it exists or how it manifests its self, and least of all, that it is a deadly threat to their God given rights and freedoms. The topic of this thread is the classic example of how it seeks to persecute opposition to its agenda of destruction. Know thy enemy and expose him, and the inquisitors of these heel clicking jack booted kangaroo courts will be tossed on histories trash heap of tyrants.

Reframing the Enemy

'Cultural Marxism,' a conspiracy theory with an anti-Semitic twist, is being pushed by much of the American right

By Bill Berkowitz

Pat Buchanan, sometime presidential candidate and radical right darling, says he is opposed to

Television commentator Pat Buchanan says it is being used to "de-Christianize" America. Washington heavyweight William Lind claims it is turning U.S. college campuses into "ivy-covered North Koreas." Retired naval commander Gerald Atkinson fears it has invaded the nation's military academies. Immigration activist John Vinson suggests it aims "to distort and destroy" our country.

"Cultural Marxism," described as a conspiratorial attempt to wreck American culture and morality, is the newest intellectual bugaboo on the radical right. Surprisingly, there are signs that this bizarre theory is catching on in the mainstream.

"It may not be true, but it's legendary that if you're like all Americans, you know almost nothing except for your own country. Which makes you probably knowledgeable about one more country than most Canadians." - Stephen Harper

"The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal yesterday ordered Bobby James Wilkinson to stop engaging in hate speech and fined him $4,000 for postings on an Internet site he hosted on behalf of a fledgling neo-Nazi movement he hoped would usher in a society free from ethnic minorities, gays and Jews."

Define hatred - and therein lies the problem, although I don't doubt that the above fits the definition.

If you read FD it seems that the problem is with one, Bill Whatcott, who is from Saskatchewan where the complainant is from and knows about him, she follows him around I guess. IMHO Bill W. is certifiable and the owners should have gotten rid of him, but they believe in freedom of speech for all.

IMHO, FD is now representing, like it or not, every board in Canada. If the CHRC case is successful, owners and moderators across the country will have a new role - that of censor. Note I say moderators too, because they are also responsible for content. Depending on the ruling this could have a major impact on boards such as this.

Connie W. is going to be interviewed by Michael Coren Sunday at 7:30pm on CFRB Radio in Toronto, 1010 a.m. or you can listen on cfrb.com

Freedominion does not promote free speech, I know from experience

I agree. They culture their speech towards a certain extreme right wing ideology. Just like the line between extreme conservatism and fascism is blurry, so is the line between the right to free speech and the promotion of hatred. By grooming discussion in only one direction they prove they have control over, and moderation over their members. If one person is found to be promoting hatred and they have done nothing about it then they are all guilty by fact they have control.

Freedom of speech is not under attack. Harbouring hate literature under the guise of free speech never has been allowed. However, until now the internet has always escaped that slight of hand. Now not only the authors of hate speech should be aware but the operators of web forums like this should be a little more diligent in editing and moderating their content.

For sure. Even our friendly little forum sometimes has appalling examples of hate speech.
