guyser Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 The warrant was baseless. Ergo, any action after that is illegal on the part of police. THAT is the point. Doesn't matter...she would still be dead at the hands of the police returning fire. I don't care about your social or even dubious legal perspective (it's called "fruit of the poison tree" btw). Police actions both legal and illegal can and do kill people, people who have far less of a choice than granny packing a gun and following "orders" from the NRA. Taking this absurdity even further, granny would still be alive if she listened to "left-wing America", whatever that means. Wow. You get confused easily. You try and rip on me using others points, and obfuscate everything else. Is there a point you were making here? Because I know police kill in actions both legal and illegal. Is it your dad, brother other family member a JBT? Just trying to see where you come from with all this, thats all. Quote

You could sure use something to calm your edgy nerves. Wonder what has got you so frayed. Was it the innocent old lady you capped then planted evidence on?? That guilty concience not sitting well with you then it seems. For all this nastyness is a side effect of the dilemma you are in. I called checkmate long time ago, and you are still staring at the board thinking the game is not over. You know that you are wrong, but keep on beating that dead horse. Take my aluminum bat, your wood one seems to be wearing out. Quote

Declaring checkmate is only in your mind. If you wish to declare victory and go home that's fine....I'm still having fun. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
margrace Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Whether the Bible is what fundamentalist claim it is or whether it is what I believe it is, it still is a good place to find some moralistic justice. Jesus said" Even as you have done it onto the least of these my brethern you have done it on to me" I wonder when the next 90 year old will be sacrificed to the lack of moral justice. Quote
guyser Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Hmm , murder charge might just work. depends on the state I think. Either way, speculative no doubt. Since in some states a criminal fleeing the police, should he crash his car and kill someone can be charged with murder. Ergo, since the warrant was criminally false (thats the rub) then the actions after could be seen as murder. Stretch, oh yeah. But neither had intent to kill , yet one gets charged and the other not. Anyhow, when the cops get in the big house, I can feel comfortable that the welcome wagon will circle 'round and introduce themselves. Maybe they will wish they actually got the death penalty, instead of just feeling like they got it. Quote
