This is really sad, PP is counseling girls 13 to 15 to lie about their age, or the boyfriend's age in order to avoid Rape laws in the United States. In one case, a teenager is bringing a law suit against PP for not reporting her incestual relationship which resulted in her being abused for another 18 months!

Where is the media on this?

Do you suggest Planned Parenthood be scrapped and children are taught abstinence only programs? Or are you simply saying, there are some idiots at planned parenthood who should be slapped, because they're quite obviously not interested in protecting people from rape and incest?

I should also point out, of all the planned parenthood counselors (or whatever the hell you call them) this is one person, one incident. How many more like this are there? This is a horrible thing and if it is widespread throughout all of planned parenthood, then something needs to be do ne. If it is an isolated incident though, we need to look at things within context.

It is not one incident. If you view the video, they show 4 I believe. It might be a norm that PP is keeping hidden, and it needs to be exposed.

My point is that people with an activist agenda (which these people do, they are social activists) are in a very tough position when they are offering health care services. Of course they should be faced with enourmous scrutiny when something like this comes up, this isn't what they should be doing.

Play by the few rules that exist I think. Encouraging children to lie about their sex offender boyfriends (an adult dating a 13 year old is a sex offender I don't care how some justify it).

These people should be charged with aiding and abetting these sex offenders in abusing these children.

When did you hear this, that sounds too far out to be true!

Well, obviously Planned Parenthood is ill-advised if they are allowing counsellors to skirt the law.

However, there may be some understandable motivations at play, in particular, the possibility that if teen-girls know that they'll get tangled up with the law when they go to Planned Parenthood, it might discourage them from getting help and advice.

I'm not sure....they have to lie to avoid legal ramifications regarding consensual sex? I think their first priority should be the child's welfare. The second should be to get the gov't out of the picture.
