Guthrie Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 The first Congressional oversight hearings on the traitorous acts of Bob Novak and a chorus of Buschistas have finally begun. So, far, even though the first round of witnesses (aside from Ms Plame) are the farthest from it - it looks exceedingly bad for the Oval Office slugs -- some of the POTUS staff are going to jail, I believe Turd Blossom will be in that group on the record so far? Valerie Plame/Wilson was a covert agent - further, when her name was exposed a number of highly sensitive and extremely covert efforts by the CIA were IMMEDIATELY COMPROMISED - some of these vile political miscreants should be on trial for their very lives - and yet, they continue to have access to the most critical matters of foreign intelligence -- that speaks to a president who must be removed for failing to uphold his oath of office Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Much ado about political nothings. The Wilsons are just setting the stage for a civil suit. Maybe she can do better than Paula Jones. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
stignasty Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Much ado about political nothings. The Wilsons are just setting the stage for a civil suit. Maybe she can do better than Paula Jones. As if you wouldn't be screaming bloody murder if anything like Plame outing had happened with the Clinton administration. Which makes you probably knowledgeable about one more country than most Canadians." - Stephen Harper
Guthrie Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 Much ado about political nothings. The Wilsons are just setting the stage for a civil suit. Maybe she can do better than Paula Jones. The act of revealing her name, compromised several ongoing CIA covert efforts, endangered the lives of field operatives, endangered the lives of foreign diplomats who were aiding the CIA and worse than all the rest put this country in significantly greater danger of nuclear attack. Bob Novak, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney, Turd Blossom and even shrub are traitors for this act alone. your sad attempt to put Paula Jones on the same page as a covert head of a CIA covert network, shows, once again, your lack of patriotism Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
Guthrie Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 Everyone else should note. These hearings are just beginning. There will be many, many more and the house of cards put up by these political criminals, is likely to come tumbling down long before this time next year. Certainly, there is no good news in the coming months for the Buschistas - and there is a better chance than ever before in history, of an administration being not just Impeached but found guilty and removed from office - it is thus possible that Nancy P will hold three distinctions - the first lady Speaker of the House (which she already is) as well as the first Speaker of the House to rise to the office of POTUS because of that Constitutional remedy for the Bush administration --- this would also make Nancy P the first Lady POTUS - stealing Hillary's thunder Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
sunsettommy Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! Then why is Dick Armitage NOT charged? Quote Visit GLOBAL WARMING SKEPTICS
Guthrie Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!Then why is Dick Armitage NOT charged? Dick Armitage is the diversionary scapegoat offered up by the Buschistas -- and only rightwing dupes can't see through that one. So go ahead and put up your lollollies and your very best freeper bwahahas - by this time next year - it will be a different story and all the blind fools will be cryin in their beer --- good luck Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 As if you wouldn't be screaming bloody murder if anything like Plame outing had happened with the Clinton administration. Wrong....those of us with experience in covert operations of any kind don't get upset when desk jockeys are "outed", regardless of the president's political party. There is a legal definition of "covert operative", and Ms. Plame's position fails the legal test. Ever been to Langely? Thousands of employees...are they "outed" by driving into the parking lot? Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 your sad attempt to put Paula Jones on the same page as a covert head of a CIA covert network, shows, once again, your lack of patriotism Those who crow about patriotism, or someone's lack thereof, reveal the shallow depth of their position. Won't work here, flag waver. Plame was the "covert head" of a CIA farce. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 From the Wilson's civil suit against the "Cheney Gang"...not much respect from the presiding judge either: Plaintiffs ask that "[o]ut of respect for [their] privacy in light of their public visibility," Pls.’ Mot. at 1, they be excused from complying with rules requiring that each party to a civil action include his or her full residential address in the caption of the “first filing by or on behalf of” the party. See L. Civ. R. 5.1(e)(1), 11.1. This Court does not readily grant relief from the ordinary application of such rules, nor does the Court believe that a plaintiff’s mere invocation of privacy interests and public prominence, without more, warrants an exception to rules that apply to all other litigants. Moreover, the implicit premise of plaintiffs’ motion —- that their residential address is confidential —- is questionable. In less than thirty minutes, the Court was able to ascertain plaintiffs’ residential address from multiple publicly available sources, including a database of federal government records. Indeed, an attorney who filed this motion on plaintiffs’ behalf has stated in a nationally circulated newspaper that he is plaintiffs’ next-door neighbor, and the residential address of that attorney also is readily ascertainable. Based on the current record, then, the relief plaintiffs seek is not warranted. So finish the book....book some speeches...and make lots of money. It's the American way. stignasty Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Plame says Bush administration treated her identity 'recklessly' Last Updated: Friday, March 16, 2007 | 6:08 PM ET The Associated Press Valerie Plame, the former CIA covert agent whose outing led to the conviction of a top Bush administration official, told U.S. Congress on Friday she believes her identity was disclosed for "purely political reasons." Plame's testimony before a House of Representatives committee was her first public comment on the release of her identity. She said that she always knew information about her work as a spy could be discovered by foreign governments, but said she was surprised to be identified by her own country's administration. Quote "It may not be true, but it's legendary that if you're like all Americans, you know almost nothing except for your own country. Which makes you probably knowledgeable about one more country than most Canadians." - Stephen Harper

There is a legal definition of "covert operative", and Ms. Plame's position fails the legal test. Ever been to Langely? Thousands of employees...are they "outed" by driving into the parking lot? how do you have, "experience in covert operations," or are you just another one of those frauds who make up some kind of fantasy service record? what does a covert operative think when the govt compromises multiple covert networks - you certainly show not a bit of knowledge of covert operations - nor of CIA or other intelligence agency protocols - you seem more like just another flakey fake so, if you're going to go around claiming it, why don't you back it up - but, really, you can't, can you? didn't think so Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
