obsidian Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 I don't think there is anythin wrong with smoking weed, but like 2 year olds...wtf. Quote
BubberMiley Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Don't worry, it's harmless! No, it's very habit forming and should be kept far away from minors. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
jdobbin Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 No, it's very habit forming and should be kept far away from minors. So it should be a crime for youth and okay for adults? Quote
Wilber Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 So it should be a crime for youth and okay for adults? Should you be allowed to feed your two year old gin? A two year old can't commit a crime but the adult who feeds it to them sure as hell should be. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

I think that's a principle pretty well established, though, surely, with tobacco and alcohol? The only question is what age you set the level at. Quote

The only question is what age you set the level at. That would entail legalizing and regulating marijuana which is something the government seems loath to do. Some people here can't even agree if the substance is harmful or not. Even the argument of it being habit forming is debatable by some. I personally have no idea. I don't use the substance but all that I've seen written on it (including two medical studies last week) indicate that the drug has none of the problems of alcohol or tobacco have. Would I give it to two a year old? No. But then I wouldn't give a two year old a Slurpee either. It seems that this BBC story was about teenagers doing stupid things with children. I'm not so sure it's a crime as it is the absence of parenting. Quote
