More VPD Problems-Chief Takes His Ball And Goes Home

So what have we got here?

Many years ago 2 Vancouver drag a drunk soaking wet man(native) out of his cell and dump him in an alley.By morning he is dead from hypothermia.

The police investigate themselves and concluded there was no wrong doing.

(Is it any wonder a recent "enquiry " concluded police should no longer be able to investigate themselves for wrong doing?)

But wait!!

If you would think that the enquiry would have questioned both of the cops who was responsible for dumping this man in the alley you would be wrong.

Now this week he( the cop) says the whole investigation was a sham.That no one even questioned him.A few days ago the attorney general rejected a call for a public enquiry.The next day he chanded his mind.Seems someone told him about the enquiry7 not questioning one of the cops responsible for this mans death.

Four days earlier, a prison guard made public allegations that he had never been interviewed by Vancouver police investigators, even though he helped drag a motionless and wet Paul into the police wagon on Dec. 5. The police wagon took Paul to the alley, where he was found dead the next morning, likely from hypothermia.

Now the story gets a little humerous.

See Vancouver has had about 6 police chiefs in the past 15 years.

For years Graham has defended the enquiry into this mans death as well as trying to defend all the other mis deeds the Vancouver police have been doing.

So what does he do when he finds out a public enquiry has been called?

He calls it quits.Takes his ball and goes home.

Sure he said it wasnt related,but with the reputation for lies the VPD has,not many people are buying that

Even the article speculates on the cause of death, what were the circumstances leading up to his arrest, how long was he in jail.
