Bloc Quebecois

The Bloc would be my first choice if we had that option in Alberta... of course if they had a similar Alberta agenda.

So instead, I picked the Western Block Party... sounds more like an annual charity event than anything but oh well.

Why on earth would I vote for a 'sixth party'? Might as well ask, "If you weren't married to your wife, who would you like to be married to?"

-a buxom blonde with no limbs

-a naughty, left-handed midget

-an 80 yr old billion-heiress with a twitchy ticker

-the 'Madame-Kahuna' of "Beaver Island"

there are just too many more...

Would the Special Olympics Committee disqualify kids born with flippers from the swimming events?

So did I. Presumably, it would be called "Bloc Alberta".

I would think that almost anyone that spends any time on this board should be able to figure out my vote. ;)

The Rhino's are no longer active, and I don't consider the Green or NDP fringe parties.

I put down Libertarian, I will probabley vote for them anyways.

Animal Alliance --> As soon as you try to tell me that eating meat is morally or ethically wrong, you've lost me, no matter how good the rest of your message was. It is OK for animals to eat meat. People are animals. Therefor, it is OK for people to eat meat. The method in which those animals raised for their flesh is a completely valid concern, but sooner or later you just have to accept that trying to tell people they bad for eating meat is hurting the rest of your message, and if you do, your support will likely multiply.

Canadian Action Party --> Heart's in the right place, but a few things I have read from them have seemed a little too tinfoil hat for me. If they cleaned up and smartened up, they could be a very credible party I think.

Christian Heritage --> Thanks, but uh... no thanks.

Communist Party --> Has a bit of an interesting history, but their usefullness doesn't extend much farther than making the NDP look more central.

Marxist-Lenninist --> I think I'd rather take the Communists.

First Peoples Party --> Necessary party, but I probably won't be voting for them any time soon.

Libertarians --> Not interested.

Marijuana --> So what if almost 50% of Canadians have tried marijuana? Do we really need a freakin' political party that has only one policy, one that a major party already represents?

Progressive Canadian Party --> Maybe they will gain some prominence some day, but for the time being, a united right is the way it is.

Western Block --> I have no use for these guys, whatsoever. Well, that is not quite true, I have no legal use for them.

People's Political Power of Canada --> Who knows. They haven't seen an actual election yet. If they help to reduce the disparity between men and women and politics without resorting to affirmative action (outside their own party), then I am all for 'em. I still have better parties to vote for, however.

In conclusion, I don't think I'd actually vote for any of these parties as is right now, but I might entertain the notion of voting for Animal Alliance, Canadian Action, Communist, Progressive Canadian or People's Political Power... Unlikely though.

How do the policies of the Animal Alliance Party (wasn't that Chretien's party) differ from the Rhino Party?
