eyeball Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Bedbug sightings have been a recurring issue in federal office buildings across the National Capital Region, often coinciding with debates over return-to-office mandates. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/2026/02/09/conditions-inside-federal-office-buildings-are-horrendous-psac-president-says/#:~:text=A directive issued last week,in a statement Monday afternoon. Okay I get it, these sightings are apparently isolated incidents but it still begs the question, why do they need beds in federal office buildings and how many beds are we talking about? 1 Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Okay I get it, these sightings are apparently isolated incidents but it still begs the question, why do they need beds in federal office buildings and how many beds are we talking about? Common places bed bugs live (that are NOT beds): Sofas and recliners Carpets and rugs Baseboards and molding Behind electrical outlets Wall cracks and picture frames Nightstands and dressers Closet shelves and clothing Luggage and suitcases Backpacks, purses, and diaper bags Office chairs and cubicles Wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds Public transportation seats Hotel furniture Movie theater seating In short: If a human sits or sleeps there, a bed bug can live there. 1 Quote
ExFlyer Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 (edited) And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is mice. And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is dust And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is rats And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is pests And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is bats And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is dust And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is bad HVAC And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is no desks And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is lack of light And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is lack of parking And if it ain't bedbugs, then it is I have to pay for daycare (and who is taking care of your kids when you work form home????) And on and on and on. Amazing to me how a small percentage pf public servants are so noisy about having to come to work in their designated place of employment. The great majority of public servants are at their place of employment for 5 days a week and have been pre and during and post covid. Companies are making their employees come back to the offiice. Provincial and municipal governments are making employees come to the office but hey...a few inside office working federal PS are whining LOL Coming to the office seems to be a horrendous thing for the federal paper pushers LOL Edited February 10 by ExFlyer 1 Quote You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to tell me what mine should be.

Just tune in to "question" period, they're not even trying to hide. 1 Quote
