taxme Posted November 20, 2025 Report Posted November 20, 2025 (edited) So, let me get this one straight. We have thousands and thousands of foods and other products that we can buy in grocery stores and other business outlets where pretty much all of their products are all wrapped up in plastic. There does not appear to be much of a problem nor any real concerns here about this so called environmental plastic crisis when we can buy plenty of food and merchandise wrapped up in plastic. And after i am finished buying my food products and i head for the checkout counter to pay for what i just bought, and then ask for some plastic bags to put my groceries or other products in, there are no plastic bags available to put my stuff in? Why is it that If i am able to buy hundreds of thousands of different products wrapped up in plastic, and all is okay, why can i not find any plastic bags to put my merchandise in? We are always told that plastic bags are bad for the environment, but yet with plenty of other merchandise being sold in plastic, and all seems to be okay, why are plastic bags not okay? There appears to be something wrong with this picture. Does anyone here have anything to comment on what i wrote above? Over to you. 🫠 Edited November 20, 2025 by taxme Quote
herbie Posted November 20, 2025 Report Posted November 20, 2025 If you're not half buried in reusable bags after all these years, more fool you. You spent 2 years running back to the car for your mask, get used to running back for the rest of your life cuz you forgot your bags now. McDonalds nails you 35c for the little paper one for takeouts. 1 Quote
