Political aspirations can be virtually guranteed for anyone located in

Political aspirations can be virtually guranteed for anyone located in Ontario and the GTA and anyone wanting to try their hand at being an elected officials can.

You don’t even need to live in the ridding of your choice since this Board is different than all other boards that require people to live in the are they want to be elected in.

They will have a part time job as a politician and get some extra income, great benefits and all expenses reimbursed and be able to add to any rresume that they held a public office by being elected.

It is a excelent opportynity for anyone over the age of 18 to start a political career by sitting on the board of elected representatives over seeing a Public Board that administers over $100 Million dollars in public spending each year.

The term of office this Election is four years. But since this is an elected office that requires only part-time attention it is very easy on anyone’s time.

Once you have been elected to this public institution it can be a spring board to a future as a full-time politician.

No experience is necessary and one needs only run for the public office at nominal cost and anyone with a good personal public persona is shure to be elected.

There are a number of seats availble and last election noobody ran for any of their seats but one. That contest was decided over about 250 total votes cast and the difference was a few hundred votes. Anyone who knows people and is able to sent out fliers or do some nominal campaining is sure to win since none of the people being acclaimed are very good politicians. All they do is put their name on the ballot and rely on word of mouth at best since they have never had to camplain before and only won by default because no one ever ran against anyone.

This is only the second time this board has been through elections and therefore they have no expeerience getting themselves elected for anything.

I forgot to mention that this is for the Trustees of the Public School Board CSDCSO.

The dozens of seats are simply handed out because no one runs for their elections. One would think that there is a pre-requisite to speak french but there is none.

Anyone from anywhere in the geographic area cover by the school board which is from Niagara to Muskoka can chose to run for any of the wards. So you don’t have to worry about competition.

If someone signs up to run for one ward you can simply choose another ward where there is less competition.

All residents eligiable to vote can vote and not only the French Speaking residents.

If anyone has a student of politics looking for a job in the political sciences field or in the education administration field having been an elected Trustee to any School board is shure to open doors in the future.

Even simply running for the elections and not winning looks good on a resume, so people interested in politics, especially young people or even retired people on pensions can see this as a incredible oportunity to not only have great experiance but can also put money un your pocket from a very easy part time jobs that requires very little time or attention. Also great benefits and pension bonuses are obtained from holding public offices in Canada in addition to the prestiege in being able to say you held a elected possition for something.

Anyone can be elected, make some money being a part time politician and have a say in $100 Million Dollars per year in public spending. After the current term of four years you will have been responsible for a Half Billion in public spending managing two dozen school in Ontario.

All expoenses are paid in full, you get paid handsomely for your time (hundreds of dollars per hour for a few hours a month), get extra government pension from having been an elected official in government, plus many other benefit such as health and dental and more. You get cheafered to Board meetings and fed like royalty. And you are right in front there for you to get a cut on any kickbacks that float around from the Half a Billion in public spending you get to vote on.

It only costs $100 to go for it and get you name on the ballot. Even if you do nothing you have a good chance to get elected in you have a nice sounding name. All of the seats went without elections in 2003 because no one signed up except one.

The only one election that there was this is the result:

Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud FS

Total Number of Voting Locations 85

Voting Locations Reported 85 100.0 %

Ian DUCHARME 210 = 81.71%

Jean WONG-CHONG 47 = 18.29%

Ballots Distroyed 24 = 9.34%

You only need 250 votes to get elected. Even if you get your name in and notify everyone on you email list and your imediate family and neighbours to vote for you, you can win hands down.

I hope that some political science students or people interested in a future in public service and/or politics will take up this offer. It one of those once in a life time opportunities people get to have a life changing experience.

The money on the side ain't bad eiher for a parttime job without personal reponsibilities. Post it around the internet so the opportunity doesn't go to waste.

The Board was created just prior to the last municipal elections so nobody's heard of them or their public posts outside of the French Speaking community of Ontario who keep these elected posts under wraps.

Since no one runs for their public offices no one gets a chance to vote by default so any candidate will have as good a chance as any other including incumbants that have always gotten in by default.

I have a feeling this has been a dead race for these spots for some time now, and iamcanadian is on commission by the region to find candidates. :)

Actually no.

These posts only came up just before the last election in 2003. Nobody knew about the political opportunities. This is why nobody registered for the electorial posts. The board then just put a bunch of friends on the each of the tickets at the last minute and they all won by default. The people are all from the Toronto, Niagara and Welland areas yet cover the whole Center South West of Ontario from Niagara to Muskoka to Belville from their residences in other areas.

This is a rare opportunity for any young people looking for a career in politics or other people who just want some good free government money, benefits and pension for doing virtually nothing.
