August1991 Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 I am certain that the PQ will win the next election. And I am certain that Alberta will hold a referendum. ==== Canada is a difficult country. Quote
CdnFox Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 I'm not up to speed enough to comment on the PQ, but there is absolutely no certainty that Alberta will hold a referendum. In fact at this moment I would say that's the least likely possibility At the moment support for independence is only around 35%. If carney continues to act as Justin Trudeau did and refuses to respect Alberta's concerns and needs and tries to destroy its economy then very quickly that will change. But for the meantime I don't see that happening If you meant someday in the next 100 years or something anything's possible. August1991 Posted June 6 Author Report Posted June 6 Ford in Ontario wisely saw the wave. Carney saw it too. Poilievre missed the wave; and I suspect Legault too. "There is a tide in the affairs of men which if taken, lead on to fortune... " Quote
August1991 Posted Monday at 05:43 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 05:43 AM This guy Rodriguez will never be PM of Quebec. The PQ will win in 2026. I'm curious what this guy Pierre St-Pierre Plamondon (PSPP) will do. Quote
