Deluge Posted January 30 Report Posted January 30 "In keeping with the revolutionary media approach that President Trump deployed during the campaign, the Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities — not just the legacy media who are seated in this room. According to recent polling from Gallup, Americans’ trust in mass media has fallen to a record low. Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media, and other independent outlets. It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump’s message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025." https://www.niemanlab.org/2025/01/white-house-will-reserve-front-row-seats-in-press-briefings-for-influencers-podcasters-and-others-in-new-media/ Is it not beautiful? 1 Quote
gatomontes99 Posted January 30 Report Posted January 30 I noticed they are giving Podcasters a seat at the table now. Quote The Rules for Liberal tactics: If they can't refute the content, attack the source. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition. If they are wrong, blame the opponent. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa. If all else fails, just be angry.

CdnFox Posted January 30 Report Posted January 30 I think in theory it's a positive step, the devlis are in the execution as a rule. I do absolutely support expanding press conferences in media to include alternative media such as podcasts. But how do you make that work practically? Does that mean doing away with the traditional media scrum? No more press conferences where tough questions can be asked? How do you determine which podcasts are legitimate and deserve equal footing and which ones are just some kid in the basement of which there are a million? It's a challenging question to answer it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

I fully expect conservatives to call the Trump presidency out if it's warranted. Quote

I'm sure they will, conservatives tend to do that. It'll be just interesting to see how he manages the whole thing because it's not an easy solution. I'm sure it'll take some tinkering to get perfect Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Can't wait to see how things pan out. 1 Quote
