gatomontes99 Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 I'm just curious. Quote The Rules for Liberal tactics: If they can't refute the content, attack the source. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition. If they are wrong, blame the opponent. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa. If all else fails, just be angry.
Legato Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 from the error codes I think the hosting company's server(s) was down. The URL could still be pinged with a successful turn around time. Quote

I asked an Admin (the Admin?), he said that the database server decided to crash and his monitors were still reporting the site was up, but the DB server wasn't servering the bits. I wonder if repolitics could automatically monitor a site like this one: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/repolitics.com.html#fb-root It definitely reported that the site was down :-p. Forum Admin Greg Posted December 31, 2024 Forum Admin Report Posted December 31, 2024 Yup, server memory spiked to 100% causing the mysql server to crash. A quick reboot restored everything to normal. Quote Have any issues, problems using the forum? Post a message in the Support and Questions section of the forums.
