NAME REMOVED Posted October 24, 2024 Report Posted October 24, 2024 (edited) Investigation Update: Death of Gursimran Kaur, 19 yrs old at Halifax Walmart 1. Gursimran Kaur's charred body was found bakery oven by her own mother, who had been checking on her during their shared shifts. 2. Gursimran's mother grew worried after not seeing her daughter for an extended period and initiated a search in the store. 3. A staff member noted "leakage" coming from the bakery area, which directed attention to the oven where Gursimran was ultimately found. 4. Early findings indicate that the oven did not have a lock and required considerable force to close, raising questions about how Gursimran became trapped. 5. 911 Call Discrepancies. The store's 911 call indicated an employee was trapped in the oven, yet investigators report conflicting findings upon arrival. 6. Police discovered a notice indicating the oven was out of order. Was there an existing service ticket for this particular appliance? 7. Investigators are cross-referencing maintenance and repair logs with the technicians responsible for the oven. Were proper safety protocols followed? 8.management has not addressed questions related to workplace safety regulations or the ongoing investigation. Why has there been no public response? 9. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by the community to assist in bringing Gursimran’s father and brother to Halifax for her final rites. 10. **Seeking Justice**: As the investigation continues, questions remain surrounding accountability and workplace safety for employees. Key Questions: - How did the incident occur without proper safety measures in place? - Will Walmart address the lack of transparency regarding their safety practices? - What steps will be taken to ensure such a tragedy does not happen again? ---- Police are treating the death as a homicide, until it is proven otherwise. Sounds like someone deliberately shut the door on her, and cooked her alive. Possibly a male who was rejected by her? Edited October 24, 2024 by DUI_Offender Quote
herbie Posted October 25, 2024 Report Posted October 25, 2024 Sounds like you're madly speculating. I'll speculate that WalMart gets fined hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Quote

herbie Posted October 26, 2024 Report Posted October 26, 2024 Speaking of sheer speculation the video is neither deleted or is there a legitimate reason to fire that employee. Why not ditch the crystal ball and wait until it's investigated? Quote

herbie Posted November 2, 2024 Report Posted November 2, 2024 Maybe a reason WalMart meat pies are cheaper than Loblaws. My grandson's joke. Had to pass it on. Quote
