gerryhatrick Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Now we see HERE what this man is. He's not a leader, he's a thug. No wonder a couple people in Canada were caught calling him names. He deserves to be called every profane name there is. I love America and have lot's of American friends. Forget the "anti-Americanism", that ain't it. The problem is a man who decides to begin a war more than a month before doing so while claiming to the world he was hoping to avoid it. about ways to avoid it. He wasn't going to be denied this war, no matter what. He mused about ways to provoke a confrontation. What is left for a man like that but Hell? He's certainly the common denominator in our bad relations. Harper can hitch his wagon to Bush if he likes. I say wait for the real America to emerge again. geoffrey Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Calling people profane names hardly results in anything other than making yourself look undignified. Quote RealRisk.ca - (Latest Post: Prosecutors have no "Skin in the Game") --
Nocrap Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Calling people profane names hardly results in anything other than making yourself look undignified. I agree. Most anti-American sentiments, are more anti-George Bush and Anti-Iraq War. Most Canadians saw through the reasons for the invasion, and are luke warm to Harper's obvious admiration of all things Republican. Again, let's not forget that 2/3 of Americans now share our dislike and mistrust of Geroge Bush and Tony Blair is in the hotseat over loan scandals. If I were our PM, I'd keep my distance. Quote
scribblet Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Thug or whatever, thats only your opinion. Sometimes, the hatred of George Bush and another country's politics colours a person's perception and clouds the mind. I don't like the war, but it doesn't mean we should call names or refuse to improve relations. Its about time we worked at mending fences. Harper admires 'all things Republican" thats a pretty broad statement, and even it were true (and so far no proof) he should be improving relations with our closest neighbour and trading partner. I'd get more worked up about it if I lived in the U.S. and could vote, but I don't. Harper is doing the right thing by trying to negotiate, and renew relations. GostHacked Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I am not a big fan of Bush myself. HOWEVER, we do not need multiple threads about the same topic (the letters saying they wanted to go to war) Try to keep it all in one thread. IMHO. Quote
sharkman Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 Yeah, and you might notice that most of these threads with a similar theme are started by gerryhatrick. It's gettin' old. Quote
gerryhatrick Posted April 9, 2006 Author Report Posted April 9, 2006 Thug or whatever, thats only your opinion. It's the majority opinion, here and down South. And since I posted this new information about bush releasing classified information for purposes of defamation have arisen. Just when you thought he had noplace to go but up, he goes down some more. Only my opinion. Don't be silly. Quote Conservative Party of Canada taking image advice from US Republican pollster: http://allpoliticsnow.com
