If the gov't spends a billion dollars on wages etc or to buy machines from complanies that shows up in the gdp, but it represents a false economy that will eventually cause economic hardship. So if gdp is slowing, and gov't spending is up, it may very well be that market driven gdp has stalled or is falling entirely. DO you think biden had any political motive to make the gdp look artificially higher during his election year? All that is needed is for you to produce one exact date. No need for extra fluff such as opinions and such. Quote
