Caswell Thomas Posted February 26, 2024 Report Posted February 26, 2024 Remember those golden sneakers Trump claims were a sell out that he sold at $400 A pair? Well, they actually haven't even been manufactured yet and it us very doubtful if they ever will be because, once again, Trump has ignored the Law, in this case world trademark law, in stealing and using the trademark of another maker in his sneakers. Louis Vuitton , famed designer, us known the world over for HIS designs for shoes including sneakers with RED BOTTOM SOLES. Trump's design for his $400 gold colored sneakers, that he has already "sold out" online before they physically even have been made or shipped to their purchasers, will NEVER BE MADE, or shipped, and NO more " will be available", as you can bet that the huge multi-billionnare conglomerate of Louis Vuitton will file a huge TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT lawsuit against Trump and the Trump business Organization . This will lead to still more legal costs, plus still another Judgement against Trump, Plus very possibly Trademark slander ...which is a complaint which adds damages to a case where a Trademark holder can show that the infringer knew they were infringing on their design but did it anyway AND profited from it. In this case Trump KNEW the red soles on sneakers are world widely acknowledged to be the sole owner trademark of Louis Vuitton. In addition now to paying the currently due fines, etc from his other two Judgments against him totalling now close to half a billion dollars, add in Trademark Infringement, with prejudice, and all the litigation fees for that, plus opposing counsels defense fees and costs very likely as well, and whatever THAT Court awards Louis Vuitton! Oh, and any of you..trumpettes who actually put out more of your hard earned cash for more Trump snake oil in these.... sneaky footwear.... quickly now...cancel that credit order before he cashes it! Fluffypants Posted February 26, 2024 Report Posted February 26, 2024 Omg you do realize that trademark is for red luxury women's shoes right? I have seen tons of sneakers with red soles. You people are ridiculous. Quote

I have seen tons of sneakers with red soles. You people are ridiculous. Seems you are the ridiculous one. Red soled sneakers are the trademark of Christian Louboutin Donald Trump’s Red Soled Sneakers a Lawsuit in the Making Quote A pair of “limited edition” sneakers that Donald Trump revealed at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia this weekend appear as though they could be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Looking beyond the gold body of the “Never Surrender High-Top” sneakers, the stars and stripes design that wraps around the ankle, and the boldly-emblazoned letter T that adorns the side of the shoes, at the heart of an as-of-now hypothetical lawsuit that could be waged against the 2025 Presidential hopeful is the red-hued soles. As most will know, this particular design element is the well-established signature of another footwear brand, Christian Louboutin. Nonetheless, Trump recently released a run of 1,000 pairs of the sneakers, which are listed as “sold” out on the gettrumpsneakers.com e-commerce site, for $399 each. The potential issue is a relatively obvious one. Christian Louboutin has consistently (and almost exclusively) offered up footwear with a specific red hue on the soles since its founding in 1992. And it has enforced its rights in that red sole in a growing number of trademark lawsuits across the globe. In fact, the company’s trademark rights were brought to the forefront over two decades after it first launched its famed footwear in the lawsuit that it filed against fellow high fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent for alleging infringing its rights in (and a U.S. trademark registration for) the red sole by way of high heel red-soles shoes of its own.
