They obviously put the sea blockades because they were constantly getting bombed by Hamas.

What am eluding to, is overall how Israel has dealt with Palestine through their history.

Ok. Let's think about that.

First, there were no Palestinians until the Russians invented them in the 1960s.

The area people think of as the Palestinian territories held Arabs. And after the Arab states lost the first war against Israel they occupied those territories. Israel took them over during the 1967 war. The Palestine Liberation Organization (created, trained and armed by the Soviets) began the Intifada in 1987. Prior to that about 40% of Palestinians worked in Israel. They had a better standard of living, because of this and Israeli investment than anyone else in the Arab world aside from the oil rich gulf states. Once the Intifada started it became progressively harder for Palestinians to enter Israel because of all the terrorist incidents. Things went rapidly downhill for the Palestinians after that.

Mind you, the Israelis provoked some of that with their goddamn settlements. Those should all be emptied out.
