So we've talked about the issue in general quite a bit - but this is now the 5th province to weigh in on this and recognize parental rights.  Ontario is where a lot of the pushback against pride events in schools has been happening as well.

Is the public becoming less 'emphatic' about trans "rights", especially with children? Did the trans movement go too far and now there's a backlash? Or is this something else that's isolated and doesn't represent a change in general public sentiment? It feels like this would have faced more push back 2 years ago.

It's probably that only now any significant number of children are trying to transition at school before adulthood

So it brings up a lot of questions that have murky answers. Though I'd say the way the media even poses a lot of these questions is intended to sow division

It seems to me like most people are kind of more towards the center, that parents should be informed and involved but that kids shouldn't be forced to go by a name/gender that they genuinely don't like. Only a small amount are extreme on the side of parents or children
