Sean Penn is considered a hero by the left.

On what do you base this? He was good in Fast Times, but not exactly memorable since then.

We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."

Horrors! Sean Penn burned a doll! I'm outraged!

Well, Robertson advocated murder. Does that count?

No, that doesn't count. Taking a mere doll and giving it cigarette burns in specific places is beyond weird. Ah, Bubber, I see Coulter has gotten under your skin as well. Time to chill out dude. Get the paper, make a crutch and smoke your angst away!.

She's not under my skin at all. But in the grand scheme, she's a lot more offensive than Sean Penn ever has been. But I like it when people are offensive. I find it funny.
