Instead, web users who try to access the site www.windsorpolice.ca are now taken to a site critical of Conservative Leader Stephen Harper.Last week, police departments in several Canadian cities surprised to find that websites with similar names to theirs were redirecting web users to the NDP website. The web addresses included www. reginapolice.ca, www.saskatoonpolice.ca and several others with names similar to police departments in Vancouver, Windsor and Edmonton. An NDP spokesperson said Friday the party didn't have the power to make Bedford stop, but hadn't asked him to stop either. The CBC finally picked up this story (rightwing blogs have been on this for days). But I'm not terribly surprised. WE've heard barely a peep about the NDP running convicted thief (he stole a $50,000 or $60,000 ring) Svend Robinson for their party. So what is the fuss? Let's take a look. The CBC refused to show us this offensive sign, so I typed WinnipegPolice.ca... Bedford is holding a sign saying, "if Jesus returns, kill him again". Just another example of the compassionate tolerant left.... Leafless Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 This is a direct attack against Christianity in general in an attempt to secularize Canada to help entrench secular convictions especially practised by homosexuals in general. I think this is an important indicator to stay clear of harmful socialist style governments that encourage a country to include lifestyles where as anything is acceptable which could result in a broken country void of moralistic and spirtual direction necessary to maintain proper values concerning the functioning of society. I think the Americans are ahead of us in that department, where laws are in place to curtail this kind of exploitation. Quote

If any of you have also done so, you'd know that at a Vancouver auction, rings tend to fitch between a quarter and a tenth of appraised value. The ring Robinson lifted was appraised at 50,000-60,000 but was worth far less. Appraisals reflect the insurance value and retail value but auction prices are a fraction of that. Whatever the value, Robinson's behaviour was totally unacceptable. Quote
