Republican demands NJ Gov. Murphy halt offshore wind project for 30-60 days amid spate of whale deaths

Garden State Republican officials are calling for a 60-day pause on offshore turbine development to investigate whether wind projects are killing marine life after a recent spate of dead whales washing up along the New Jersey-New York coastline.

During a recent local hearing, State Sen. Michael Testa, R-N.J., called on Gov. Phil Murphy to order a halt on offshore wind farm construction in the state to determine whether the project is responsible for the recent uptick in whale deaths.

Truths to ponder. (Truths whether you goose steppers like it or not.)

1. Wind power will NEVER light a city. And it solely depends on there being WIND available. It is inefficient and costly.

2. So far, you don't see massive whale deaths from OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING PLATFORMS in the Gulf.

3. This whole alternative fuels idea is based on a LIE. The Climate is NOT changing today. There is ZERO evidence of prevailing weather patterns changing in ANY part of the world. It is still cold in Antarctica and still hot in sub Saharan African. It continues to rain and snow. Yes, the climate has changed in the past, WITHOUT ANY HUMAN INVOLVEMENT WHATSOEVER. If the climate changes, it WON'T be due to ANY human activity whatsoever. To think otherwise is to be just plain STUPID.
