-How likely would you think that the NDP socialist caucus will become the mainstream in NDP?

My opinion is that the federal NDP is moving closer to the Liberal and tend to reject far left policies proposed by that caucus. I do not think that the mentioned caucus will be majority in the party in the coming 10-15 years.

-If someone from the caucus win a federal election, would you think that they will implement plans like withdrawing from NATO, NORAD etc? Or they will change?

My opinion is that for country with abundant resources like Canada, it need a decent armed force or allies (or both) to keep itself free from aggressions. Implementing policies like withdrawing from NATO, NORAD will make Canada vulnerable, and also send nonfriendly signals to our current allies, which can result in non-favorable economical consequences.

Please kindly provide your opinions and/or feedbacks on these topics.

Implementing policies for stronger armed forces makes us vulnerable?

Why are we talking about withdrawing from NATO/NORAD?  This thread is very sus.

I am of the opinion that it's the Liberals that are moving further to the left well into NDP territory. The CPC under O'Toole was well within sight of where the Liberals are and not all that conservative.

The NDP is the last political party I would ever want to see win power in Canada(a tie with the Greens).

I literally meant implementing policies like withdrawing from NATO, NORAD will make us vulnerable. Thanks for reminding me. I am talking about this because these are the policies proposed by the socialist caucus of NDP.
