B. Max Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 The hillary has be going out of her way lately to try and make it look like she is moving to the right. Obviously it's all been an act. Who will be fooled, not hanoi jane. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/10/5/102624.shtml Quote
Black Dog Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Hillary doesn't have to move to the right. She's already there. The Clinton's are representative of the democratic party as a whole: only slightly more moderate on a few issues than the Republicans, but beholden to the same financial interests as their rivals. Argus Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 The hillary has be going out of her way lately to try and make it look like she is moving to the right. Obviously it's all been an act. Who will be fooled, not hanoi jane.http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/10/5/102624.shtml <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jane Fonda might still be something of an airhead, but in her fifties now she isn't as much of a simplistic airhead as she was in her twenties. In any event, the fact Fonda is donating money to Clinton is ireelevent compared to the legions of screwballs pouring money into the Republican's coffers. Care to compare Fonda to Pat Robertson, who by some estimates controlled a third of delegates to the Republican convention? Fonda might be an idiot, but Robertson and his adherants are frigging scary. Black Dog Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 From the article above: 'Hanoi' Jane Fonda, whose anti-U.S. activities during the Vietnam war remain an anathema to most Americans, is helping to bankroll New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's reelection campaign. "Bankroll", huh? Scary stuff. Who knows what Hillary could accomplish with Jane Fonda's financial power behind her.... The woman who sat behind a North Vietnamese gun installation and pretended to shoot down American pilots donated the maximum - $2,000 - to Hillary's campaign coffers, the New York Daily News reports in Wednesday's edition. $2,000 is probably half of Condi Rice's monthy shoe budget. Why do Republican hacks lack any sense of proportion? Toro Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 I don't think Hillary can win. If McCain gets the nod for the GOP, he'll crush her. Quote "Canada is a country, not a sector. Remember that." - Howard Simons of Simons Research, giving advice to investors.
Black Dog Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 The only way Hilary will win the nomination the entire Democrat leadership turns out to be card-carrying Republican loyalists. Which, given the Dem's performance against Bush to date, is a distinct possibility.
