Guest LLL Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Long before 911, Isaac Bashevis Singer wrote: "Buildings will collapse, power plants will stop generating electricity. Generals will drop atomic bombs on their own populations. Mad revolutionaries will run in the streets, crying fantastic slogans. I have often thought it would begin in New York." I guess this is FURTHER proof that the Jews knew about 911 far in advance & weren't in the WTC Towers. I'm surprised Al Jazeera hasn't picked up on this little tidbit yet. Quote
August1991 Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Isaac Bashevis Singer is one of my favourite authors. (IMV, he's in a league with Hugo, Zola, Twain and Balzac.) His novel, The Family Moskat, is a really good story. It's also hilarious, if you have an ironic sense of humour. I think Singer is a better storyteller than Sholom Aleichem. Singer's stories are more realistic, more human, somehow. I must admit that I did not read these novels in the original Yiddish. I read translations. I am a bit confused about the connection you make between Singer and the World Trade Center. LLL, what's your point? Quote

Beats me why, maybe because I don't speak Yiddish. The point I was making was that not only is he great writer, but the guy might have had ESP. I mean look at it ... (this was from a 1986 translation) ... buildings falling, chaos, New York. If Al Jazzera got their hands on this quote they'd max it out ... the damned Jews KNEW about 911 YEARS in advance. Laugh, August, laugh. PS - Sholom Aleichem? Never heard of him! Quote
