Using Quotes.

Oh FFS.

If you want to break up a quote, highlight a passage in the person's posts and a "Quote This" box will actually show up. That drops the quote into the reply box at the bottom. Type up your reply.

Then you can highlight and quote the next part the same way.

That's the easiest way to break up quotes and you don't have to resort to writing HTML code or being talked down to because you don't write HTML.

Cybercoma has posted the solution.  

Simply select the text you wanted quoted, put the cursor over the highlighted text and you'll be given the option to "Quote this". Select that link (the text will be quoted in the reply box); you can then return to the thread and continue to do that with all the text you want quoted.

Mind you, this doesn't work on a cellphone or tablet afaik.

However, the above post describing how to quote multiple sections of text seems much much easier than using BB code.

Yes it does. This feature works fine on my iPhone.
